As you might know Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios has 10 haunted houses this year. As you make your way to each house you have the chance to check out the Scare Zones each featuring different themes. These zones are a nice break from standing in lines as they are out in the open and run between Haunted houses and select open rides. They fill out the space throughout Universal Studios, tying the various areas together nicely.
There are 5 scare zones filled with scare-actors. For Halloween Horror Nights 31, the scare zones are as follows:

Horrors of Halloween – The Pumpkin Lord, the spirit of Halloween, has taken over this year’s event, summoning hordes of fiendish creatures. Terror has taken root.

Scarecrow: Cursed Soil – At an abandoned farm, scarecrows have risen from the crust of the earth to hunt you and seek revenge. They’ll harvest your screams, and haunt your dreams.

Sweet Revenge – The sweets from Major Sweets’ candy company have turned children into crazed killers. This Halloween is all trick, no treat and total mayhem.

Graveyard: Deadly Unrest – On All Hallow’s Eve, a dark storm descends upon a cemetery and awakens long-dead spirits. Have fun trying to dodge them as they try to trap your spirit to comfort theirs.

Conjure the Dark – On the first All Hallow’s Eve, an evil sorceress called forth monstrosities from dark dimensions. They seek out your blood to fuel their fiendish appetites.
Let’s not forgot some great photo ops at Chucky's Good Guys Toy Box:

Guests follow Chucky's footprints leading into a broken Photo Box. As victims step in, they are prompted to do certain poses and make certain reactions as the pictures are taken. Chucky makes comments as the booth snaps each photo. Scary images are superimposed in the backgrounds to make some memorable snapshots. At the end, guests are given an option to scan a QR code to a link where they can download their filtered photos featuring Chucky!

Here is yet another great photo op that will take your selfies to the next level!
Which scare zone are you most excited for? My Favorite was Scarecrow: Cursed Soil, Central Park. Being a Midwest girl, this really hit home. I could imagine creepy things coming out of the corn fields and bushes! Yikes!
