Can you imagine a better way to visit Walt Disney World or Disneyland than to visit during World Princess Week? Yes, World Princess Week is a huge deal at the parks. So big that it even receives its own Foodie Guide! Let’s dive into all things Princess and the food that comes with the amazing celebration.
Beginning August 25, 2024 and continuing through August 31, 2024, guests will experience World Princess Week in the parks. Starting off at Walt Disney World, there will be three resorts that will have Princess offerings. Disney’s Contemporary Resort, home of Contempo Café, will feature a Cinderella Cupcake for the entire month of August. The cupcake is made with a vanilla cupcake base, vanilla custard filling, and topped with buttercream, blue-white chocolate slipper, and a fondant pumpkin on top. A quick trip on the Monorail and you will find yourself at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Here Capt. Cook’s and Kona Island will have a Moana Mini Cake, a perfect offering after the refurbishment of the guest rooms that feature Moana in the décor. The cake is made with a vanilla cake base and has a mango mousse, glaçage, buttercream frosting, then covered in fondant. It features a white chocolate medallion of Moana with a white chocolate flower. The final resort that will be offering World Princess items on the menu is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Both Le Petit Café and Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of Riviera will offer an Aurora dessert, similar but different. Le Petit Café will have “Make it Pink, Make it Blue” Aurora Fruit Tart. This tart will be made of diplomat cream and a raspberry mousse then topped with fresh berries and a crown shaped white chocolate piece that also has a citric-acid color-changing solution. The second Princess Aurora dessert at Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of Riviera is an orange blossom-honey mousse with strawberry curd. There is also an almond crumble and the same citric acid color-changing solution and crown.
Heading into the parks at Walt Disney World, three of the four theme parks will have Princess offerings. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has two options at two different locations. Fairfax Fare currently is offering a Belle Cup of Enchantment. This beverage is made with cranberry and a mix of Minute Maid Passion Fruit Orange Guava Juice, then topped with a beautiful yellow shimmer and delicious strawberry boba pearls. Over at Dockside Diner, available for the month of August, is The Little Mermaid Shake. A blend of vanilla, mango, guava, and ginger are topped with a swirl of whipped cream and a fun pineapple-guava seashell cake.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is getting in on the fun with a Guardian of the Dragon Gem at Creature Comforts. This fun cake features a coconut cake base with mango mousse, lychee-dragon fruit gelee, and a dragon tail made of cream.
The park with the largest Princess presence, Magic Kingdom Park, will be offering a brand new Princess Tiana Sipper. This beautiful cup features Princess Tiana on top with Louis the alligator on the cup. The cup is available for purchase at multiple locations throughout the park while supplies last. Another Princess Tiana item is the Tiana Cone that can be found at Storybook Treats. This delicious ice cream cone is made up of white chocolate and frosted mint soft-serve ice cream and a sprinkle of crispy white chocolate pearls with a white chocolate Princess Tiana medallion. Also at Storybook Treats is a Rapunzel Sundae. This is made of a shortcake topped with wild berry soft-serve ice cream plus DOLE Whip Lemon. It is topped off with a berry compote and adorable sugar flowers.
One final stop at Disney Springs, which I highly recommend for a rest day, is at Amorette’s Patisserie and The Ganachery. Amorette’s Patisserie will feature a Moana Petit Cake, different than the one that can be found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This cake is made with layers of vanilla sprinkle cake and a white chocolate mousse filling. Then across the way at The Ganachery, they have added a Rapunzel Ganache Pop to their menu. Made with dark chocolate, candied cherries, and vanilla bean, it is then covered in 65% dark chocolate.
While all of the delicious items are at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort also has a few amazing offerings. The new Princes Tiana sipper can also be found at Disneyland Park along with an Aurora Sipper and Belle Sipper. These items are while supplies last. The other fun offering is the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures available at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This is a table service dining experience and reservations are highly recommended!
