As the month of February comes to an end, we begin to look forward to what March is bringing to the parks at Walt Disney World. EPCOT is kicking off the International Flower and Garden Festival on February 28, 2024 and runs through May 27, 2024. We also have the Easter Displays at four select resorts, and finally the celebration of Women's History Month.

The Foodie Guide has been released by Disney Destinations, and I am here for it! With so many amazing options throughout the parks and even the resorts, you will surely find something to enjoy and maybe even try something new! Let’s see what is being offered this year around Walt Disney World property for Women’s History Month.
Characters, cast members, and chefs from Disney are all being showcased with these new and returning menu items. Please note that while a majority of the items are only available throughout the month of March, there are a select few that continue through May, and some even regularly.
Starting at the resorts, all three of the Disney’s All Star Value Resorts will offer a Banana Pudding Cheesecake. This decadent dessert is inspired by Pastry Assistant Sous Chef Janell and her Jamaican roots. Traveling not too far away, but looks like you have traveled to Afraica, over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge there is a delicious meal being offered in honor of Women’s History Month. Boma- Flavors of Africa and The Mara will have a South African Vegetable Bowl. Inside this dish guests will find items like kale slaw, pilau rice, dried fruit achar making a curried vegetable stew. This flavorful dish was crafted by Sous Chef Khuloud, and she was inspired by her Saribian heritage.
The next resort stop is Disney’ Coronado Springs Resort where guests will find a Tea Time Salad at Toledo-Tapas, Steak & Seafood. The Tea Time Salad was “inspired by flavors commonly found at an afternoon tea” as stated by Disney Destination news which was created by Sous Chef Chelea. With the final resort stop being Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, guests will find three special menu items, two created by Sous Chef Lauren and one by Proprietor Deborah. The two dishes by Sous Chef Lauren are a Cauliflower Bisque and Beef Bourguignon. The Cauliflower Bisque is made of cream cauliflower bisque, harissa, and a roasted pistachio gremolata. Beef Bourguignon is a slow-braised beef with vegetables served with a red wine jus and mashed potatoes. The dish by Proprietor Deborah is Traditional Pound Cake, the recipe for this dessert is passed down for generations in her family.
Heading into the parks there are quite a few options inspired by our beloved character friends! At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can find a refreshing drink, the Belle Cup of Enchantment. The best way to describe it is the famous POG juice with a twist. The drink is topped with strawberry boba pearls and a sprinkle of sparkles, but it is oh so delicious! While the Belle Cup of Enchantment can be found at Fairfaxe Fair, right next door is Hollywood Scoops and here you will find the adorable Minnie Kitchen Sink! This delicious treat might be enough to share, or not (your choice) but it is too cute! It comes with your choice of ice cream flavor, a drizzle of chocolate sauce, then topped with a swirl of red whipped cream and white dot sprinkles, and finally garnished with a white chocolate red bow and cream filled cookie ears made to look just like Minnie Mouse! The final treat inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the Princess of Alderaan Shake that can be found at Dockside Diner. This fun milkshake is a blend of salted caramel ice cream then topped with whipped cream, purple glitter, and two little cinnamon buns.

The next park to visit is Disney’s Magic Kingdom where the Fantasyland life can be lived and Tiana has the main dish. Inside the park, guests can experience Tiana’s Beignets at the Golden Oak Outpost. Here they are served hot with a strawberry dipping sauce. Need a little pick me up before heading into the park? Stopping by Main Street Bakery for a caffeine fix and treat is the only way to go! Here you will find the Tiana Chantilly Cake and an adorable Minnie Mouse Cupcake. The Minnie Mouse Cupcake is a chocolate chip cupcake with a cheesecake filling and topped with chocolate buttercream and chocolate pieces to create that Minnie look. If you’re looking for the Tiana Chantilly Cake, guests can also find this vanilla cake with lemon chantilly, and strawberries at The Plaza Restaurant as well. Last but certainly not least at Disney’s Magic Kingdom is the Madame Leota Cupcake which is made of a chocolate-cherry cupcake then filled with a blackberry cream and topped with a cherry flavored buttercream and the signature Madame Leota look on a chocolate piece.
The celebration continues over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom where guests can find the cutest little Feathered Friend Mousse Dome. With the resemblance of Kevin from “Up”, this lavender-white chocolate mousse is on top of an orange blossom cake, and has a beautiful blue chocolate coating with white chocolate colored feathers. This bright dessert can be located at Creature Comforts. Continuing on the way to a restaurant that is a hidden gem is the Nomad Lounge. Here there are two delicious beverages and the perfect way to take a break from the parks. A Tequila and Pineapple Cocktail and The Ginger Whiskey are being added to the menu for the month of March. The second location to offer some new treats is Tiffins Restaurant. A White Chocolate-Orange Creme Brulee will be gracing the menu for the month, and what a perfectly light and refreshing option to choose! This blueberry-cardamom curd is paired with an amarula ice cream and sellou cookie to make the delightful dessert. Also at Tiffins will be the same Ginger Whiskey drink being served at Nomad Lounge.
Our last park stop is EPCOT. While there are so many choices being offered in March with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, there are also a few that are in honor of Women's History Month. Connections Eatery will be one of the first locations you will come to when entering the park and head left. Here you will find a refreshing Lychee Green Tea. This pomegranate-hibiscus green tea has flavors of lychee and lime juice and is topped with pomegranate boba pearls! The next item can be found at Sunshine Seasons inside the Land Pavilion. A Moana MilkShake made of an orange cream milkshake and topped with whipped cream, chocolate seashells, crispy pearls, and an adorable Moana chocolate coin is sure to be a favorite and perfect timing for Spring!
