Marvelous Mouse Travels was invited to a Wizarding World of Harry Potter fan event at Universal Orlando. Four travel agents, including myself, were whisked away in the park after hours to experience Hogsmeade after dark. In Florida weather fashion, it started to rain and as we were walking along the cobblestones towards Hogwarts castle, it felt as if we were transported straight from the book into this magical land.
The ambiance was perfect as we were given access to the castle, we were able to ride both The Forbidden Journey ride and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike, and able to explore each of the ride queues. We took pictures, filmed Facebook lives and watched other influencers enjoy the magic of the evening. Then Universal treated us to a wonderful dinner at The Three Broomsticks.
The Three Broomsticks restaurant is in the middle of the village of Hogsmeade. It is here where you can grab a bite of rustic cooking and the iconic Butterbeer. We were treated to a buffet of entrées and other foods that can be purchased at the restaurant during normal business hours. We were able to try many dishes like shepherd's ie, beef pastries, roasted chicken, grilled veggies, and so much more. Then they tempted us with scrumptious desserts, and we all loved the chocolate pudding! The Three Broomsticks is a must-try when you are visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal. It truly was an extraordinary night full of all things Harry Potter.
