I’ve told others how great it would be to vacation on a dude ranch and most often I get confused looks. Most people wonder what a dude ranch is and why I’d actually spend my time off on a ranch. A dude ranch vacation is unique vacation often away from he hustle and bustle and an opportunity to really enjoy nature and the outdoors.
Dude ranch vacations date back to the early 1900s. These days they are more than staying in outdated cabins and horses. Typically dude ranches are all-inclusive; they include your food and most, if not all, activities. Activities differ from ranch to ranch but generally you can find the following:

Some ranches have their own farm-to-table programs where you will find some of the cleanest, healthiest food you will find at an all-inclusive vacation. Most meals are served family style in a relaxed atmosphere encouraging time together!
