As 2025 continues to unfold with the debut of new cruise vessels, one ship stands out as a game-changer in the world of luxury travel: Celebrity Xcel, the fifth, and latest addition to Celebrity Cruises’ innovative Edge class. Celebrity Xcel officially launched in November 2025, sailing 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale before heading to Europe in 2026. One of the biggest draws of Xcel is the seven brand-new venues and experiences designed to redefine what cruising feels like.

• The Bazaar: Perhaps the crown jewel of the ship’s innovation, The Bazaar is a three-level, culturally immersive area that brings the spirit of the destinations on board. Guests can explore artisan markets, local crafts, dining, live performances, and curated cultural encounters that change depending on where the ship is sailing.

• Bora: A stunning open-air restaurant located in the Rooftop Gardens, that evolves with the day:  brunch during the sunlight hours, dinner under the stars, Mediterranean-inspired menus, and live music in the evenings.

• Attic at The Club: A retro lounge meets arcade, complete with classic games, karaoke, and social hangout space — perfect for couples or groups looking to relax and play.

• Celebrity Pool Club: This isn’t your average pool deck.  It is a chic, elevated poolside retreat with  private cabanas, and themed events, culminating in “The Poolest Day Ever,” a full-on party with DJs, games, and island-style energy.  This is also the location of Celebrity Cruises newest pool sculpture, which proves a little monkeying around is good from time to time.
  

• The Spa & Relaxation Zone: This is Celebrity Cruises largest spa yet and includes a Hydra Room with heated lounges, a Vitamin D deck, and over 120 treatment options.

• Celebrity Flagship Store: A retail-meets- museum experience space where guests can not only shop exclusive items, but also engage with interactive exhibits celebrating Celebrity’s history and brand.
  

• IYKYK (Secret Venue): And one of the most anticipated areas is one that Celebrity kept a mystery until the ship made its debut.  IYKYK is an acronym for “If You Know You Know”, implying the exclusivity of this space.  Guests wanting to find out more about this unique location should head to The Club and look for a photo booth.
  

Celebrity Cruises is known for its emphasis on elevated dining experiences.  So much so, that Celebrity Xcel named Janaina Torres,  2024’s Best Female Chef in the World by World’s 50 Best Restaurants, as Godmother to this vessel.  Across Celebrity Xcel’s many food and beverage venues, there’s something for every palate, from casual bites to elevated chef-led cuisine. A few standout options include Mosaic, a chef’s counter-style restaurant inspired by regional flavors located in The Bazaar, as well as Chef’s Studio at Mosaic, Celebrity’s first-ever onboard cooking school, where guests can learn to make dishes tied to the ship’s destinations.  Returning to the newest ship ijn the Edge Class is A Daniel Boulud curated fine-dining restaurant, Le Voyage, bringing culinary prestige to the sea.  Other signature dining staples: The Grand Bistro, Fine Cut Steakhouse, and Raw on 5, Blue, and Luminae, among others.

On Celebrity Xcel, entertainment is more than just shows, it’s a cultural journey.  The ship will present four themed destination festivals in The Bazaar during Caribbean sailings:  Carnival, Aqua, Viva, Flora, complete with local music, dance, cuisine, and immersive performances.  A cast of over 75 resident performers will bring these festivals to life via mainstage productions, interactive performances, and parties.  Tech-forward staging: expect kinetic lighting systems, laser effects, and large LED installations to elevate the visual spectacle.
