Iberostar Grand Paraiso is one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever been to. The grounds are impeccably maintained and their staff is amazing. From the moment we arrived at check-in to when we left at check-out they made sure we were satisfied with our stay. Their customer service was top notch and they had so many amenities that kept us entertained during our stay!
The resort itself is so beautiful! Iberostar Grand Paraiso was constructed with elegance and class. The lobby is grand with opulent marble décor and mosaic floors along glass chandeliers. There is a fresco-covered rotunda lit by skylights with an indoor garden. It very much reminded me of the Bellagio with its Roman style. The dining areas have high ceilings, exquisite chandeliers and gorgeous views of the gardens or ocean.
The rooms are also very nice but not as fancy as the main areas of the resort. They're comfortable and very spacious though, with air conditioning that works great (it's hot in Playa del Carmen).
There are so many things to do at Iberostar Grand Paraiso. We spent a lot of time at the Lobby Bar, which is a great place to hang out and watch live performers in the evening. Ask Daniel or Dario to make their famous rainbow colored shots and then make new friends as you get to hand out the colorful drinks!
There are also plenty of activities available if you’re looking for something more active. You can head over to the waterpark or shopping center. Don't forget the Disco Galaxy opens late into the night.
The beach in front of Iberostar Grand Paraiso is beautiful. It has a wide white sand beach with calm waters. The resort provides free lounge chairs for sunbathing or sitting under an umbrella on the beach, which is perfect if you want to relax in the sun all day long. There was not a lack of seating on the beach. As well as lounging on the beach, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy at Iberostar Grand Paraiso's large pool complex including:
Iberostar Grand Paraiso offers 6 restaurants. You make your reservations upon arrival then you eat at the restaurant of your choice on the night you selected. We ate room service for breakfast as we found the menu to be large with great options. They often told us to wait 45 minute wait but rarely took 30 minutes. You can order right on your app! There are several options for dinner including the Japanese restaurant and Italian restaurant which we enjoyed on separate evenings. Not only was it delicious but it was beautifully presented as well. The pictures below show some of what we ate during our stay at Iberostar Grand Paraiso.
If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with your significant other and want to be treated like royalty, then Iberostar Grand Paraiso is the place for you! They also offer proposal packages starting at $250 which would be a very romantic way to start your life together and less stressful to plan than normal proposals. They take care of all the details...just don't forget the ring!
The best part about Iberostar Grand Paraiso is their service. They have figured out how to delight their guests with amazing customer service throughout every experience at their resort. From check-in to check-out the staff gave us excellent service and made sure we were happy with our stay. From the bellhop that carried our luggage to our room to the bartender who served us a refreshing drink on the beach we were treated like royalty by their staff. Their smiles were warm and welcoming. I was very impressed with all of the staff on the property.
Overall, we had a great time at Iberostar Grand Paraiso. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a romantic getaway!
