Planning a Disney vacation is magical—but let’s be honest, it’s also a logistical puzzle when you’re traveling with kids, strollers, and a need for personal space. That’s why the Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are one of the best choices for families looking to balance budget, comfort, and a fully immersive Disney experience.
One of the biggest draws is the theming. Each Family Suite is inspired by Disney and Pixar classics like The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars. The moment you walk into the suite, it feels like stepping into your favorite movie. Kids light up when they see Simba or Lightning McQueen on the walls—and let’s face it, so do adults. The Finding Nemo suites are considered preferred rooms as they are directly behind the Main Building, Animation Hall. There are two buildings that house the Nemo and Lion King Suites each and three buildings in the Cars section so you may find more availability in the Cars section. If Nemo or Lion King is your preference, you may want your travel advisor to grab that for you as soon as possible!

Each suite sleeps up to six guests and includes:

The layout gives families enough space to unwind after a long park day. Having a separate bedroom means parents can still relax with a movie while the kids wind down in their own area. We especially enjoyed the extra space while staying in these suites with our teens.

Art of Animation is classified as a Value Resort, but the Family Suites offer a near-Moderate resort experience. Perks include:
The resort itself is bursting with larger-than-life characters and colorful photo ops, so even your “resort days” can feel special.

If you want that full Disney bubble with space to breathe, the Family Suites at Art of Animation will be perfect for you! Contact your travel planner to see if these suites will be a good fit for your family and to help you find the best available pricing. You will have “No Worries” while your travel agent takes care of all of the details so you can “Just Keep Swimming!”
