A big part of why you choose a Disney Cruise Line vacation is usually the character interactions right? There is no shortage at Lighthouse Point! There are dance parties, cultural learning and of course plenty of meet and greets! We absolutely loved that it wasn't just getting pictures with the characters at Lookout Cay but truly getting to interact and play with them.
Over by TrueTrue BBQ you will find Mickey and Minnie in the early hours of visiting the port! Be sure to get these pictures early, they aren't out all day and you never know when a rain storm might pass through in The Bahamas and cause you to miss your chance to see them.
One of the most unique parts of Lookout Cay is being able to really experience the culture already on the island. They put so much into this guest experience and spared no expense at putting some Disney flair on it as well. While you are enjoying the show be sure to make your own head piece as well to take that picture with the characters at Lookout Cay!
Then my absolute favorite is in Play Play pavilion. Goofy, Chip & Dale and Pluto come into this space dancing and bring games with them. Pluto and Goofy host a limbo competition for all the kids and really just take time to interact with all of them in this space. One of the best parts is that this is within a pavilion and out of the sun! If your kiddos need a break but don't want to leave the sand, this is a good distraction.
Overall I think there are plenty of character interactions to be had, do keep in mind you won't see a character until you are all the way past where the tram takes you to the other side. Unlike Castaway Cay where you will see them as soon as you disembark the ship.
