Shirt, shorts, socks, undies and PJs…check! Now what? Is this your first time on the Disney Wish? Have no idea what to pack for the Disney Wish? I’m here to help!

Let’s start with the basics- the clothing.
You are going to a warm destination so will want to dress accordingly, however at night it can get chilly on the deck and might want to pack a sweater or jacket as well.
I tend to pack a day outfit and a dinner outfit for all the days of the cruise, however there is laundry on board if you wish to utilize this.
There is rotational dining aboard the Wish at 3 different restaurants.
1923: based on the year Disney studios was formed. This is the fancier of the of the 3, however cruise casual is acceptable. Nice shirt/shorts or pants, a sundress, a polo…you get the idea, but no swimsuits. However, if you want to go all out, by all means do! I did see a few flapper costumes on board.
Worlds of Marvel: a fun interactive restaurant themed according to - you guessed it- Marvel! Superhero costumes welcome! Otherwise, causal clothing acceptable.
Arendelle: a frozen themed dinner show. Little Anna and Elsa’s were dressed up all around, however I opted for a simple summer dress. Again, another dinner casual restaurant.
If you want a nice adult only dinner, Palo or Enchante are for you. Reservations are required for these dining establishments. These restaurants are more dinner formal. For the men-jacket (such as a sportscoat or suit jacket) and dress pants. For the women-dress, skirt/blouse, pant-suit. No jeans, shorts, or flip-flops.
No need to go overboard with the shoes! A pair to wear at the beach, to dinner, and for walking is sufficient.
Each shower room is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion so if you don’t have room you will be covered! Hairdryers are also available.
This is a fun nighttime event on one evening on the ship where you can let your inner pirate shine! There are people in full on pirate garb, a simple bandana or eyepatch, to no theming at all. This is completely up to you with how dressed up you would like to get! Have fun with it if you want!

No need to pack towels, they are available on the island.
Don’t forget the swimsuits! I would recommend 2 swimwear items per person. They do not tend to dry quickly on the ship so it’s always great to have an extra pair so you aren’t putting on a wet swimsuit the next day.
I’m sure you have heard of people utilizing lanyards on a cruise ship. This is a convenient way to hold your key to world card and ID so you don’t need a wallet or purse. It is not a make or break however- many people did not have these.
There is not a designated formal night on these sailings. Having said that, there were definitely people creating their own formal night all during the sailing.

What I have come to learn about these cruises is to have fun with it! If you want to wear the ball gown, do it! Bring the princess dresses and Spider-Man costumes. This is your vacation, enjoy it!
