The best way to describe the Hotel Xcaret resorts is they are a natural Disney World. You have resorts that are a short bus/boat ride away from the Eco parks, plus they are included with your stay at Hotel Xcaret and Xcaret Arte! There are 8 parks total, and no 2 are the same.
That being said, you don’t have to go off resort to get that eco park feel. Flowing between both parks you will find the river which weaves its way through caves, tunnels, waterfalls and there are even some areas you can jump in or slide in! They also have kayaks and paddle boards to explore if you don’t want to swim through it all.
The architecture itself is also very unique, there are bridges that connect the buildings, and other parts of the resort. Everything is a very natural look and feel. You also will find that the pools are not standard either. Many are infinity pools and some are actually clear glass on the side as well. A very Instagram worthy resort.
Another thing that I loved about this resort is the pop-up drink stands/food carts. They look like they are going to be something you must pay extra for... but it is all included! There was a fresh fruit cart by the pool, and it was being cut right there. We never had to go far to find something fresh to eat or drink.
If you are looking for a resort that is out of the ordinary and a one of a kind. Xcaret fits that bill! I loved our entire experience there and can’t wait to go back in the future.
