Halloween Horror Nights is a separate ticketed event located in Universal Studios Orlando on select nights in September and October. The Halloween themed event runs from 6:30 pm-2 am on most nights and is not included in regular park admission. So if you plan to stay for the fun (and you should), a separate ticket must be purchased to enter the event. Let me be clear by saying... you do not want to miss this! From scary themed food and drinks, scare zones, scare actors, stage shows and haunted houses, you are sure to be in for a treat if you are a Halloween fan. This event can be intense for some and is recommended for ages 13 and over. It is highly recommended to pre-purchase your tickets as they do sell out quickly especially on weekends and nights leading up to Halloween. Ticket pricing starts around $75 depending on the date you choose. Single night tickets, multi-night passes and express passes are available for purchase. However, the best way to ensure that you get the most fear for your buck is to add on the R.I.P. Tour to your event ticket. You can also add-on a scareactor dining experience for dinner! Make sure to reach out to your Marvelous Mouse Travels agent to assist you with your ticket purchase. They have the tips and tricks to get you the most out of the event!

R.I.P tour pricing starts at $299.99 per person +tax
A visit to the Tribute store is a must on any trip to Universal but especially during Halloween Horror Nights. This isn’t just any regular gift shop. The Tribute Store is an immersive merchandise shop that is revamped every few months to a different theme. It holds all different types of HHN merchandise and even sweet treats that you cannot get elsewhere in the park.
There are so many options of food and beverages at Halloween Horror Nights. My favorite themed treats were from Meetz Meats. From zombie brains to a fresh ground princess you were in for something spooky yet tasty! The best part was you could see your treat being prepared! Nothing beats a fresh ground princess, right? Guess you'll have to go to find out! Although this is a scary event, Universal will do their best to keep you safe. Therefore, a photo ID is required for any spirit purchases. (See what I did there?)
I'm sure that once you have taken the opportunity to grab yourself a snack and beverage you are ready for a haunted house or two. However, to reach the entrance to one of haunted houses you'll first have to master escaping one of the five dark scare zones filled with smoke and scare actors that have currently taken over the park. It's all fun and games until you're scared from behind and chased away from your friends. Then the only way to get back to them is to wait alone on the outside or be brave enough to enter back through the scare zone. What's your choice?

Located at the Fear Factor amphitheater, Halloween Nightmare Fuel Wildfire is a can't-miss Halloween stage show. There are a few showtimes for each night of Halloween Horror Nights, however, the show fills up quickly due to the demand so make sure to show up early to grab a seat! The show is set to alternative music and you'll watch as nightmares come to life with pyrotechnics, illusions and an amazing aerialist.

Upon entering the Halloween Horror Nights event, you will be given an event guide. This guide will first advise you to "Never Go Alone." Personally, I would stick to that advice and always bring a friend! There are ten haunted houses and the guide will tell you where you can find each one. Each haunted house is themed and has amazing special effects that will make you truly feel like you need to sneak around every corner. If you are the type of person that does not prefer waiting in long lines and you definitely want to be able to see all of the haunted houses in one night, I would highly recommend adding on the express passes or the R.I.P. tour. You will save so much time and you'll still have a chance to sneak in a ride or two at open attractions like the Mummy or Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit while still visiting every haunted house! My personal favorites were Halloween, The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare and Universal Monsters: Legends Collide. There are no pictures/videos allowed inside of the houses or food and drink so be sure to have your hands free when you enter. You wouldn't want something to slow you down would you?
