If you’re spending time on The Disney Destiny and love a little (or a lot) of spooky charm, the Haunted Mansion Parlor is one of the most magical and eerie spots on the ship. Inspired by the iconic Haunted Mansion attractions in Disney Parks, this lounge brings ghostly storytelling to life in an intimate, Victorian era drawing room with a nautical twist.

Walking into the parlor feels like stepping into a ghostly ocean liner from a bygone era. The space is decked out with vintage‐style furniture, dark wood paneling, flickering lanterns, and the iconic wallpaper that looks to be straight out of the ride.
Around the room, you’ll see a portrait gallery filled with “wandering souls” whose expressions seem to shift. Some portraits actually change to reveal more another version of their subjects, I loved seeing the sea captain and his mysterious bride. They even have the iconic chair you can sit in. A ghostly fireplace features a spider‑web clock with its hands stuck at “13” and a haunting portrait of a shipwrecked bride at its center.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor operates like a bar, and the drink menu is on leather tablets that look like old books. There are signature cocktails with spooky names—like The Chilling Challenge, which comes in a wooden box that smokes when opened. When you’re ready to pay, you will be handed a “Death Certificate” as your check, a slightly creepy souvenir.

I am not sure exactly if The Destiny will be the same as The Treasure but guests have reported that the parlor is open to all ages until 9 PM, after which it becomes adults‑only. Regardless of if you take your kids inside or wait to just go with adults, it is a must do when sailing onboard both The Destiny and The Treasure Disney Cruise ships!
