When we, Marvelous Mouse Travels, talk to our clients about their upcoming visit to Walt Disney World, we always touch on dining and the options that they have available to them. Each resort offers guests dining options, some of those menu items are seasonally available. With the holidays quickly approaching, guests will notice some delectable items slowly beginning to become available. While some items become available right after Thanksgiving, others will not be available until early to mid December.

Some menus we do not have specific resort locations for, but with the help of an agent, they can be found. Like the Holiday Fruitcake Mule and the Holiday Fruitcake Old-Fashioned. They are available at Deluxe Resorts and Specialty Resort Locations beginning November 27, 2023 and will be available through New Years Day.
At the five Disney Value Resorts, guests will find an adorable chocolate cupcake, which is also planted based. The name of the cupcake is Walking in a Plant-based Snow Land which has a beautiful light blue buttercream icing and snowflake sprinkles! It is also available at a few Moderate Resorts like Disney’s Port Orleans, both French Quarter and Riverside, plus Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter will have a holiday twist on their famous beignets. A Hot Cocoa Beignets has three fresh beignets with a hot cocoa powder dusting, then drizzled with fudge and adorable snowflake sprinkles. Disney’s Caribbean Beach will also have a Snowman Blondie which is a chocolate chip and peppermint blondie that has a brown butter-chocolate mousse, vanilla bean whipped cream, and white chocolate “melting” snowman on top. The other dessert option is a Peppermint Brownie Cheesecake which is a layer of delightful brownie and topped with a peppermint cheesecake. The Disney All Star Resorts will also have the Minnie Gingerbread Bundt Cake as a menu item.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has the Roaring Fork as a dining option. Beginning November 15, 2023 the Roaring Fork will have a Peppermint Igloo. This dessert is crafted of white chocolate and filled with a white chocolate-peppermint mousse and a layer of dark chocolate cake. There is a cute little snowman at the “entrance” of the igloo.

Another resort that does not disappoint in the food department is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Many guests visit this resort to dine at Topolino’s Terrace with the characters, but you may also want to make a stop for Le Petit Cafe. They will be serving two adorable new options. A Chocolate-Peppermint Santa Hat and Gingerbread Cookie will be available beginning on November 26, 2023. The Chocolate-Peppermint Santa Hat is a dark chocolate mousse, white chocolate-peppermint mousse, and a mint marshmallow, as described by Disney Destinations.
Continuing on the way around the resorts, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will be offering a new DOLE Whip at Pineapple Lanai. It will consist of DOLE Whip lime as a float with pineapple juice and ‘Olu Mel White Chocolate placed on top, and popping candy. This fun float is called ‘Olu Mel Holiday Float. For those that do not know ‘Olu Mel, he is the adorable turtle created for Aulani Resort. More fabulous drinks will be available at Trader Sam’s and Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace beginning December 1, 2023. The Jingle Jammer is a mix of cranberry and pineapple juice with cinnamon, falernum, and topped with a splash of lime. There is also a holiday twist on the Mai Tai. The Mele Kaliki Mai Tai is made with a mix of rums, cranberry juice, orgeat, lime juice, and topped with a cinnamon stick. A Tropical Snowstorm is on the way with this beverage. A mix of Jack Daniel’s, coconut rum, coconut cream with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the home of Gasparilla Island Grill. Here you will find the beautifully wrapped Present Peppermint Brownie Pop. The brownie wraps around a peppermint patty that is made in-house then dipped in white chocolate and served on a popsicle stick. There is also a Snowman Choux. It is a delicate pastry that is filled with a chocolate Bavarian cream and a layer of a spiced mousse that is decorated with a cute top hat, red scarf, and his “carrot” nose.
If you’re looking for a delightful milkshake, look no further than Disney’s Beach Club Resort which is the home of Beaches and Cream Soda Shop. The Holiday Shake will begin on November 26th and available through New Years Eve. Crafted of Cookie butter ice cream and drizzled with caramel and festive holiday sprinkles. It is then topped with a regular size Christmas Tree decorated cupcake.
