It’s a question I get asked all the time as a travel agent who books cruises- which restaurants are included in my cruise fare? Now that Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas has arrived in Port Canaveral, let’s talk about what’s included, what’s considered a specialty restaurant, and what’s new for you to try out!
Let’s start with the restaurants that are included in your cruise fare! Spoiler alert, there are a lot!
Windjammer Marketplace
The buffet you all know and love that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is a great spot to stop for lunch on the day you board!
Main Dining Room
Depending on your room, you will be assigned a Main Dining room where you can enjoy dinner each night. The menus will rotate so you won’t have to worry about having to eat the same thing each night.
Park Cafe
Also open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this casual spot features freshly made deli items. Make sure to try the famous “Kummelweck” roast beef sandwich.
Cafe Promenade
A fantastic spot to stop and grab a coffee or light bites in between meals. This location is also open around the clock.

Sorrento’s
A location that I frequent often when I cruise, this pizza shop has my heart. Who doesn’t love a good slice of pizza?! You can choose from the classics like cheese and pepperoni or mix it up with whatever specialty pie they are serving that day! It’s also a great late night stop!
El Loco Fresh
Got a craving for some fish tacos, beef burritos, or carnitas? Then this is your place!

Solarium Bistro
An 18+ spot, the Solarium is a casual dining location open for breakfast and lunch where you can enjoy a spa-like environment. So relaxing!
Boardwalk Dog House
Come get your hot dog and all the fixins’ at this Boardwalk stand!

Sprinkles
It’s not a Royal Caribbean cruise if you don’t make a pit stop at Sprinkles on the pool deck for your soft serve ice cream fix!
Johnny Rockets
You will actually see this restaurant included on both lists, because breakfast is included in your cruise fare, but lunch and dinner will be considered specialty dining.
The Spare Tire (NEW!)
This is a new to Utopia of the Seas food truck style dining location up on the pool deck! It’s perfect for a quick bite in between dips in the pool!

Coastal Kitchen
Included exclusively for suite guests, this spot focuses on Mediterranean style dishes!
Are you hungry yet? We still have to talk about all the specialty dining locations! Please note that the restaurants listed below are an additional cost outside of your cruise fare, but if you’re interested in exploring more than a couple locations on this list, make sure you talk to your travel agent about purchasing a dining plan prior to your cruise!
Chops Grille
Whether you prefer a Filet Mignon or New York Strip. Whether you like them Medium Well or Rare, head to Chops Grille for a mouthwatering steakhouse dinner!

150 Central Park
Classic entrees, but elevated! This spot focuses on locally sourced ingredients for all the dishes on the menu. You can feel good about what you’re eating!
The Mason Jar
As someone who was born and raised in the South, this restaurant really hits the spot when it comes to southern comfort food! When I have a craving for buttermilk biscuits and fried chicken, this is where I go!

Sugar Beach
You will literally become a kid in a candy store when you step into this sweets shop on the Boardwalk!
Johnny Rockets
Like I mentioned above, breakfast will be included in your cruise fare, but if you want some of those delicious burgers and fries, sandwich melts, or chili dogs, this location has all your classic American favorites covered for an additional cost.

Feast on your favorite Japanese dishes with a private omakase-inspired dinner or enjoy interacting with the chef during the hibachi experience.

Pro Tip: If you ever forget which restaurants are included and which ones are an additional charge, go into your Royal Caribbean app, click on the ship icon at the top and select dining. If there is a ($) in the description, that particular restaurant is an additional cost.
