Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point has been open for several months now, following its inaugural sailing on June 6, 2024. Since then, Disney Cruise Line has made several updates to Lookout Cay to make the island even more inviting for guests. One of the latest additions is a cold towel and water station at the end of the pier as you enter the island. 
This thoughtful touch provides a refreshing way to cool down after your walk from the ship. Previously, this service was only available at the end of the day when guests were boarding the ship again. Now, you can enjoy it as soon as you set foot on the island. Additionally, a water station has been installed halfway down the pier, offering guests another way to stay hydrated during their walk.
Another significant improvement has been made in the dining areas, particularly concerning the fly situation at True-True BBQ 1 and 2, as well as at the adult-only dining area, Serenity Bay. Large fans have been added to improve air circulation, which has not only helped with the insect issue but also made the dining experience much cooler and more comfortable.
For those who love capturing memories, Disney has also added more photo opportunities. Guests can now take pictures with mural walls shaped like their favorite characters, decorated with vibrant, Bahamian-inspired designs. These updates to Lookout Cay have made it an even more delightful destination, ensuring that Disney Cruise Line guests have an enjoyable and comfortable visit from start to finish.
The nature walk is now open; however the bike trails are still being pixie dusted!
