At this point in the year, we are all patiently, and some not so very patiently, waiting for the announcement of the houses for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights 2025. Speculation is beginning to surface regarding the houses that will be in the line up this year, and some of the merchandise has begun to show in the parks. Nothing to specific houses, just the Halloween Horror Nights generic merchandise.

However, the official Universal Halloween Horror Nights website has released the event calendar, even though tickets are not on-sale yet. It looks like for the 2025 season, the first event will take place on August 29, 2025 and will continue on select evenings through November 2, 2025. Most events take place on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. It does look like Thursday, September 18 is not an event, but it was moved to Tuesday, September 16 instead. There are 47 Universal Halloween Horror Night events this year!
Universal Studios Orlando does close the park early on event nights, which means a Park-to-Park ticket is a must when visiting in the fall. This will allow guests not attending the event to move over to Universal Islands of Adventure for the remainder of the evening to enjoy those attractions.
Inside the event guests can expect thrills and chills around every corner!
Starting with the fun, there are dedicated scare zones on most streets throughout the park. Each location has a theme, and the scareactors are trained to read the fear. In previous years there have been five scare zones.

The live entertainment offered at HHN is like no other. I have experienced the live entertainment, and the only words that can remotely describe it are phenomenal, jaw dropping, and mesmerizing. Imagine aerial work, fire, music, and dancing all built into one amazing stage show!

Most of the attractions will also be open during the nighttime event, which means minimal wait times!
There are also food and beverage booths located throughout the park, and offer exclusive menus for event nights. Some are themed towards houses, and some towards fan favorite items like the Twisted Tater.

And now, to everyone's favorite part and probably the main reason you are visiting Halloween Horror Nights, the haunted houses! Previous years there have been ten haunted houses, with various themes from Universal Monsters to new films.
