Over the last two years we have seen the theme parks adjust their policies to coincide with the increase and decrease of Covid-19 cases. Universal Orlando has announced that starting February 12 guests will no longer be required to wear masks. This policy is extending to all areas! It is still suggested that guests who are not fully vaccinated wear masks or face coverings while indoors. This policy is subject to change and we always suggest to refer back to the parks safety procedures and polices for any updates.
Mardi Gras is in full swing. Starting February and continuing through April 24th guests can enjoy some amazing celebrations throughout the parks and City Walk. From festive music and concerts to spicy cuisine guests will be fully immersed in traditions and the culture brought from New Orleans. Some guest stars include Khalid, Marshmello, and Jason Derulo. Check online for a detailed schedule of performances and be sure to catch your favorite artists on stage! Also don’t miss the fun parades featuring authentic floats as well as some flying beads!
Other options in entertainment can include Velvet sessions which take place at the Hard Rock Hotel showcasing live music from legendary artists throughout the year. Sessions are up close and include cocktails and appetizers. Past performers include Bret Michaels, Joan Jett, Foreigner, Eddie Money, and more tickets can be purchased ahead of time and are non refundable. Prices, dates and times may vary. Velvet Sessions and Velvet Unplugged are separately ticketed events.

Another great option of resort entertainment would be Harbor Nights. This event takes has at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and is an extra ticketed event. Harbor Nights is a wonderful event where guests can spend an evening beside the picturesque harbor sipping select wines and trying unlimited gourmet food samples from the hotel's restaurants. Live music and traditional opera performance complete the elegant ambiance. Prices and dates may vary and this is for guests ages 21 and older.
