Events in the theme parks are always the best times to visit. Not only do you get to experience the normal day to day events, but during special events you get to experience something that is spectacular. Each year, Universal Orlando hosts a special Mardi Gras event inside Universal Studios Orlando called Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval. This includes food from around the world, a special parade, and even live concerts! We officially have some information for the 2024 Mardi Gras season at Universal Orlando, and I could not be more excited to share it with you!
Up first is the parade! During the Universal Mardi Gras season, the parade changes over to the Mardi Gras theme and resembles what you find in Louisiana; music, floats, and fun! Guests can also have the opportunity to ride on a float and toss beads to the streets filled with guests below. This can be done by reserving a special dining package. On select nights from February 3, 2024 through April 7, 2024, guests visiting the parks and reserving a Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience will have that reserved spot on the parade float, terms and conditions apply.
There are four different restaurants offering the package this year and they include; Finnegan’s Bar & Grill (inside Universal Studios Florida), Lombard’s Seafood Grill (inside Universal Studios Florida), The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar (Universal CityWalk), and NBC Sports Grill & Brew (Universal CityWalk). The Universal Mardi Gras Float & Dine Experience packages begin at $84.99 per person (plus tax) and are subject to availability.
