While guests are eagerly anticipating the opening of Universal’s EPIC Universe theme park in Orlando, Florida, expected to open 2025. Now those with the smaller visitors are looking forward to something a little more their speed, the other new Universal theme park located in Texas. In recent exciting news for those with the littles, we officially have a name for the new Universal theme park, Universal Kids Resort! It will bring the excitement and thrills of Universal Studios to Frisco, Texas. Universal has announced that this will be a “unique theme park experience for the younger crowd.”
There are not too many details that have been released about the newest addition of the Universal brand, but we do have some small details. The details about Universal Kids Resort will be different from others as it will inspire the kids to discover, learn, and play using their imagination.
We also know that there will be multiple themed lands, think Universal’s Islands of Adventure, but geared towards children. There will be shows and characters throughout the park creating the fun family environment that Universal is known for. There will also be so many family-friendly attractions. Universal also describes the new location will “cater to young kids and their families and bring to life beloved characters and stories in ways that will wow the youngest theme park goers.”
As far as accommodations are concerned, it has also been announced that there will be an on-site resort offered for guests that will have 300 guest rooms. This will make playing in the parks much more enjoyable as guests will not have to worry about traveling far after a day in the park.
From the concept art that has been released, we are seeing water, bright colors, and lush green scenery. Which is the perfect mixture of fun and calming for an exciting day in the park.
