What feels like forever ago, Universal Destinations announced their expansion into a city they have not touched base in before, Las Vegas, Nevada. Here Universal will bring the world of Universal Halloween Horror nights to Sin City for the first time. We now have some news and announcements regarding Universal Horror Unleashed and what to expect regarding the destination.

Universal Horror Unleashed will open in 2025. It will be the first Halloween year-round experience available for guests from Universal Destinations. While there has not been an opening date released yet, Universal Destinations says that there are even more updates in the coming months. Could the 2025 Halloween season be the kickoff to this thrilling location? That would be amazing!
Here is what we know so far. There will be four haunted houses; Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow - The Reapings, and Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer. All of these previously themed houses were terrifying inside both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando, so I could only imagine that these permanent houses will be more than horrifying for their residency.
Guests can expect to see the iconic Frankenstein, The Mummy, and event The Wolfman here at the new experience.

Surrounding the houses, Universal Destinations has announced that there will also be “four sinisterly themed and immersive areas.” These sound like scare zones to me, but it also mentions that there will be eerie eateries, bars, and even live entertainment.
Seasonal events will also be located here with exclusive merchandise.
The new Universal Horror Unleashed will be found inside the AREA15, which is the entertainment district of Las Vegas.
