HUGE news out of Universal Studios Hollywood! Beginning Spring 2025, Universal Studios Hollywood will be bringing something like never before to the park. A brand new series of theme nights called Universal Fan Fest Nights. While official dates have not been released yet, we do have some exciting news for the Universal Fan Fest Nights, lets see what we have so far!

Along with the announcement of the Universal Fan Fest Nights, we have three themes that have been released. Back to the Future, Dungeons & Dragons, and finally, Star Trek! We also know that these are going to be separate ticketed events. This means that to attend those select nights, guests will have to purchase a special, separate ticket from their day time ticket for park entry. The event will be held after regular park hours. This is the same process as Universal Halloween Horror Nights.
Did you know that Universal Studios Hollywood has an active film backlot? It is also part of the Studio Tour included with regular daytime admission where guests ride a tram through the backlot and get to see first hand some of the sets that have been used in popular films and even some that are currently being filmed. “Back to the Future” was filmed on the Universal backlot and parts of the set are still present!
With each select evening, there will be themed food, exclusive merchandise, and “celebratory moments” as said by Universal Studios Hollywood. Cosplay is also mentioned to be allowed in the parks for Universal Fan Fest Nights. The park also mentions that there is more to the line-up that is yet to be revealed, so be sure to check back frequently for updates.
