Utopia of the Seas has finally arrived as the sixth Oasis Class ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet and she just became the fourth ship to offer an Ultimate Family Suite onboard. Marvelous Mouse Travels was lucky enough to be invited to join a 3-night preview sailing on Utopia of the Seas and we got an opportunity to tour this room. My jaw hit the floor the second I stepped foot inside, so let me tell (and show) you everything this stateroom type has to offer because it’s a lot!
As a general overview, the Ultimate Family Suite is a two-story stateroom with over 2400 square feet of fun that sleeps up to nine people. On the first floor you will find a large living room space, a dining table that converts into an air hockey table, a private movie room with kitchenette, a bedroom with a Queen bed, and full bathroom. The suite also has an over 500 square feet balcony where you will find your own jacuzzi, a ping pong table, and several lounge chairs to enjoy!
As you walk up the spiral staircase to the second story, you will find two sets of bunk beds with a full bathroom and a master bedroom with King bed and en suite bathroom.
Fun Fact: There is another set of stairs closest to the family living room that has a fun addition to check out! Each step looks like a key on a piano and as you walk up and down each step, you will hear different notes that make up a song! So much fun!
The Ultimate Family Suite is part of Royal Caribbean’s Royal Suite Class of rooms which means it comes with a long list of special amenities as part of your stay.
