The time has come! In just a few short days Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party will debut and the new snack menu has just been released! On select evenings from August 11, 2023 to November 1, 2023, Disney’s Magic Kingdom closes early to general guests and the magic begins for the special ticketed event. While there are a few dates sold out, there is still plenty of time to reserve your vacation and purchase your tickets to this spook-tacular event! Let's take a look at the treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

This year's menu features over 25 eats and treats to help celebrate this year's seasonal event, with most options being new menu items! With locations all over the park, you will find specialty treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party around every corner! Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, an ice cream and Churro shop, will be offering a brand new milkshake flavor available during the Halloween party and regular park hours. The Apple Fritter Milk Shake is crafted with salted caramel milkshake with a swirl of green apple whipped cream, and topped with an apple fritter!
Our next location, Cheshire Cafe, will have three specialty treats with two of them being brand new this year. MMMummy Treats seems to be a play on the Cheshire Cat Tail that is offered on a regular basis. This pastry is filled with a chocolate-hazelnut spread and topped with icing designed to resemble a mummy wrapping. Yes! There are eyeballs peeking through! Also on the menu, keeping with the Alice in Wonderland theme, is a Queen of Hearts Slushy. This magical slushy is cherry flavored, swirled with a black cherry purée, and topped with whipped cream and a chocolate crown. Need a pick-me up during the evening event? Grab a Witches Cold Brew! This delicious French Vanilla Cold Brew has a pumpkin spice foam and fun sprinkles on top! All of these menu items will be offered during both the Halloween event and regular park hours.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, which was also a Trick-or-Treat station in recent years, will be offering four new items available only during the special event. A new sandwich names Terrifyin’ Twice-Spiced Chicken Sandwich, which has pepper jack cheese, jalapeno poppers, and bacon on a delicious fried chicken breast that is dipped in hot honey. Also available at this restaurant is a meatball sub named The Snarling Sub. On a black roll guests will find a spicy marinara and pesto topped with “teeth” that are crafted from mozzarella. For the sweeter side of the menu, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe will have Zombie Fingers! These green almond cookies are shaped like a finger with a key lime flavored white chocolate ganache dipping type sauce, and have sugar eyes! For a refreshing beverage, a shimmering River Stix Elixir will be featured on the menu. A kiwi lemonade and a swirl of luster dust will have all eyes on your drink.
While strolling through Fantasyland, guests will find The Friar’s Nook. This food and beverage location will be open with three new savory options. A bratwurst that will have a sriracha mustard and topped with sweet and spicy onion relish is named the Pain and Panic Brat. Do you know which movie characters this item is named after? The dynamic due also has Pain and Panic Loaded Tots, that also have a sweet and spicy onion relish with the sriracha mustard, but also has bratwurst on top! To finish off this menu, a Buffalo Chicken Hand Pie, which seemingly looks like an empanada, will be topped with a spicy ranch dressing and sprinkled with blue cheese powder. These three items will only be available during the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
For the sweeter side of menu items, there are a few locations that will have sweets and treats. A Black Velvet Whoopie Pie is available for purchase at Liberty Square Market. Main Street Bakery, also the Starbuck’s Location, will have a special Mickey-Shaped Cinnamon Roll. While it is similar to the regularly offered cinnamon roll, it will be topped with orange frosting and the “ears” will have Halloween colored sprinkles. Another menu option at Main Street Bakery, is the new Minnie-Shaped Pumpkin Cheesecake with a white chocolate bow! I am really looking forward to trying this!
Circling around to Adventureland, guests will find Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. These special event menu items seem just as fabulous as their day to day menu. A Cajun Burger served on a black bun,, has a fried green tomato topped with Cajun Andouille dip, and Creole remoulade. Would you like a Bucket of Bones? This item is “bone-in piggy wings” in a Coca-Cola Cherry Barbecue sauce, as described by Disney Destinations, and topped with sliced jalapeños. After the jalapeños, you will need something to soothe your palate, a nice Candy Corn Milk Shake will be just right!
Storybook Treats is known for its special themed ice cream cones and there is no exception for the Halloween party. The Hades Cone will making its appearance on August 11th, and I’m not so sure I can handle it. A mango flavored DOLE Whip is mixed with habanero, and will be topped with a chili-lime seasoning dusting.

The treats I am looking forward to the most are the new pops. A Jack Pop and Sally Pop will be available at the Churro Cart near Cinderella’s Castle. The Jack Pop is a chocolate fudge brownie with a sweet filling of marshmallow with a chocolate Jack Skellington face. The Sally Pop with a yellow cake pop and a raspberry filling.
There are so many more new food and treat options available, there just isn’t enough time to try them all. Have you started your list of must-try treats at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?
