Halloween Horror Nights is one of the most popular events put on each year by Universal Parks! Each year park goers anticipate what Universal will bring us to have the ultimate night of fun and fear in the parks! Haunted houses, scare zones, shows, and gory delicious food offerings are always new and exciting to see how they have topped previous years. It’s important to know before your visit some Halloween Horror Nights top tips to make your experience the best!
This event always draws in a crowd! Some of the more popular evenings can sell out in advance so it is important to have your Marvelous Mouse Travels agent ready to secure your tickets once the dates are released. On your event night, show up early! If you are going to be in the parks that day, plan to be on the Universal side a couple hours before the event starts! You can beat the crowd at the entrance by being in the park already. Each area of the park has a holding space for the houses. If you know the most popular house or the one at the top of your list you can wait in the holding space within the park and be one of the first to that house!
Halloween Horror Nights this year had 10 houses to experience, 5 scare zones, and 2 shows. If you want to make the most of this event and accomplish everything you need to treat yourself to an add on to take it to the next level! Express passes will allow you to skip ahead the regular standby times to the house. You are cutting that posted line time in half or more with this pass! Don’t be let down at the end of your evening missing out on some of the fun. RIP tours can be a way to really feel like a VIP! It is worth the financial splurge for all you are given! Your group will have a guide from open to close taking you to the front of the houses and giving you the backstory of what’s waiting for you inside. You will be provided dining at Cafe La Bamba and throughout your tour stops at RIP tour only lounges to have beverages and avoid standing in lines with the regular park goers! You will get a special RIP tour lanyard upon arrival, priority seating to the shows, and front of the line access to ride attractions running during the event! Save up and be ready to get spoiled next year!
Knowing there is so much fun waiting for you at the start of the event you don’t want to waste time eating at a restaurant. Plan your dinner early this day and just be ready to snack on some fun treats while you are walking through the park!
Universal always puts in the most detail and entertainment to their shows! The Halloween Nightmare Fuel Wildfire show was such an amazing experience I made time to see it twice this year. Get to the shows early as sometimes within 15 minutes of the start the audience is full! The houses are what we come for but the shows, the food, and the tribute store are not to be missed. Be sure to plan your itinerary to make stops for them along the way.
There is nothing better than having a good scare and laughing the night away with your besties! Get a group of you together for this event and make some lifelong hilarious memories together.
