When visiting Universal Studios Hollywood, one part of the park that is a must visit for most guests is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Why? The area is so immersive that you really feel like you are visiting Hogsmeade Village. When you first enter the world, you will probably notice the house robes and the wands first, they’re everywhere! House robes are the black robes that the students wear in the film. Each house has their own with the house crest and respectful colors trim on the inside. Up next is the wands! Ollivanders Wand Shop is where you will find these. Wand designs are by characters, including the students, professors, and more.
If a house robe is not your style, that’s alright, guests can also find many styles of Hogwarts house t-shirts. All of the houses are included: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, plus you can find a wide variety of just Hogwarts themed shirts. One location to shop for clothing items is Gladrags Wizardwear. Here guests can find the iconic pink Yule Ball gown that Hermione wears or even sweaters and cardigans.
Other times, like a Sword of Gryffindor (that actually lights up), or even a Light Up Broom are also available for purchase.
If you’re gearing up for back-to-school or just in the market for some new school supplies, Hogwarts House Backpacks, Feather Pens, and Hogwarts Crest Notebooks are also available in the park.
Getting ready for game night has never been easier. The Hogwarts Trivia Quiz and Harry Potter: The Ultimate Movie Quiz will have your friends stumped for hours! My favorite activity when I am stuck in the house for rain or snow is a puzzle and the Marauder’s Map Puzzle is a great way to spend that time.
