Top Snacks to Try in Each World at Epic Universe

By:  Gina Mignone, a Marvelous Mouse Travels agent

Are you planning on visiting Epic Universe anytime soon? This park is now open today, May 22, 2025!  And let me tell you, it really is Epic!

Epic at Night

Epic Universe features five immersive worlds: Celestial Park, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, with each containing their own themed rides, shows, drinks, snacks and food.

I was so lucky and had the chance to visit during previews. Words cannot explain just how excited I was when I arrived. Walking into each world felt like stepping into a completely different reality—the details, the energy, everything was next-level.

And the snacks? The snacks were as immersive as the attractions.

I made it my mission to try something in every world, and each bite was like its own little adventure. Whether it was the playful, nostalgic flavors in Super Nintendo World or the eerie, bold treats in Dark Universe, every snack added to the experience. This place is going to be a game-changer, and I cannot wait for everyone else to get to explore it!

Here are my top snacks to try in each land:

  1. Celestial Park – The Pizza Lunare ($18.99) at Pizza Moon

We stopped at Pizza Moon around lunchtime, so we had to try a pizza along with a snack. We chosse The Pizza Lunare and this did not disappoint! This was listed on the menu as a roasted garlic bechamel, fromage de lune, ricotta, pancetta, garlic confit with a purple celestial ube pizza crust. While I don’t know what half of these ingredients are, what I do know is when put together, they are out of this world! If this was the only thing I ate all day, I would leave happy.

For my snack, I ordered the Brownie Eclipse ($11.99) and you will definitely need to save room for this warm gooey brownie. It has a tasty chocolate hazelnut spread, topped with crushed chocolate and cream sandwich cookies that melt in your mouth with every bite. So good!

  1. Super Nintendo World – DK Crush Float ($18.99) at The Bubbly Barrel

The Bubbly Barrel Snack Stand in Donkey Kong Country offers the perfect ice cream treat for a hot day. The DK Crush Float’s characteristically banana ice cream is mixed with pineapple soda and topped with toffee and chocolate caramel corn, all surrounded by a fresh waffle cone. This tropical drink made for a refreshingly great start to my day!

  1. How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk – Stormfly's Catch of the Day ($7.99) at Mead Hall

Stormfly’s Catch of the Day had to be the snack I was most excited for. It looked adorable and I was sure it was going to taste delish. How could you go wrong with a chocolate covered mousse fish swimming in fruity pebbles? While this is definitely the sweetest treat on the list, if you are a fan of sugary cereals, then this one is definitely for you.

  1. Dark Universe – Hunter Garlic Stake ($8.99) at The Burning Tavern

The Burning Tavern must be the coolest - or should I say hottest - quick service dining experience in the park. The windmill atop erupts into flames several times an hour!

While you’re there to see the windmill, you’ll definitely want to grab a Hunter Garlic Stake. This crispy garlic butter pretzel came with garlic dipping sauce and was as tasty as it was instagrammable. There is nothing I need to explain about this yummy treat, pretzel, butter, garlic, keeps away vampires - what more could you need?

  1. The Wizarding Worlds of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic – Butterbeer Crepe ($19.99) at Café L'air De La Sirène

Café L'air De La Sirène’s butterbeer crepe was filled with a delicious shortbread cookie butter Bavarian cream, Butterbeer cream and topped with fresh strawberries, Butterbeer drizzle and a shortbread cookie garnish. This was easily my favorite snack of the day. When you bite into this dish, you can’t help but smile. It’s full of perfect bites with strawberries and that signature butterbeer flavored cream, that will apparate you right into magical Paris. I highly recommend sharing this snack, as even though it felt light going down, it was very filling. Plus, your friends will love you for it.
