Your dining reservations are made, you’ve got Genie+ added to your vacation package and your Disney World Trip countdown is FINALLY in double digits. You can hardly wait to get to the magic--but what can you do while you wait? Here are some ideas
Things at Disney these days are constantly changing, and as your trip gets closer, you may find that you have some last-minute questions. Reach out to your MMT travel advisor--this is why they are there! Also, be sure to read over any pre-travel information that your advisor has sent, in order to help your trip go as smoothly as possible!
Travel agents get just as excited about your trip as you do! If you aren’t already, be sure to join the Marvelous Mouse Travels Disney Facebook Group, where our group members post all the time about their countdowns. We have such a wonderful community of Disney fans, ranging from first-time visitors to seasoned DIsney-goers--we know that the countdown to your trip is oftentimes, just as exciting as the trip itself!
This is a legit thing that I do before all of my trips. As a self-proclaimed, “Disney foodie”, I spend a LOT of time researching the snacks that will be available during my trip--because it is easy to get overwhelmed once you arrive! With all the new treats that Walt Disney World has announced for the 50th anniversary, you are going to want to plan ahead of time so you don’t miss out on the best stuff!

Once your trip begins, try not to stress! Especially if you have used an MMT agent, there is nothing to stress about! Don’t try to do every single ride, and see every single show--you will drive yourself (and those you are traveling with!) bonkers! Instead, prioritize your “must-dos” and focus on those. Most of all, build in time to just relax and take in the sights and sounds of the parks.
I truly believe that the true magic of a Disney World vacation happens in those authentic moments that are completely spontaneous...and those are the ones you don’t want to miss.
