The Disney Wish is the fifth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Wish showcases Cinderella along with other Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar classics in the most luxurious way. The details are incredible and everywhere!! Each room on the ship is unique but is tied together to showcase the enchantment the Wish provides. Take your amazing photos in the following locations onboard.
The Grand Hall is where you will enter the Wish and honestly every inch of this grand atrium on decks 3, 4 and 5 is worthy of a mention. The Grand Hall will host many character meet and greets, photos with the Disney castmemebers, shows and more. You can take a few photos yourself and here are a few spots I would like to highlight. The Cinderella statue, the Balcony overlooking the entire atrium on either deck 4 or deck 5. Cinderella’s glass slipper on deck 3.
The lounges on the Disney Wish are incredibly gorgeous and full of details. The Bayou is a New Orleans-themed lounge highlighting The Princess and the Frog. It features glowing lanterns, greenery and amazing magnolia blossoms and white flowers. This travel agent’s favorite spot is in one of the corner booths for Learn to Draw a character or just a delicious drink or beignets!!!
Arendelle was this travel agent’s favorite dining room as Frozen is one of my family’s favorite movies. The Details from the movie was really cool. Disney Cruise Line is known for its very popular large porthole windows. My favorite was in Arendelle near the clock…Tick Tock Tick Tock. The dining experience features live musical performances and sing-alongs while your enjoy some great Norwegian-inspired dishes. The décor is fantastic and I recommend walking around to enjoy all of it!!
My family’s favorite spot on the Disney Wish for Photos was the promenade. The promenade are outer decks on decks 4,5 and 6. It has connecting outside stairs and even features the ship’s bow which I have not seen on many ships. Have your “I’m the king of the world!” moment on the Disney Wish. You also can catch some beautiful sunsets on your sailing and it was very quiet out there. Deck 4 does feature some shuffle board games. Along these decks there are plenty of places for you to get a balcony photo. There are also several Disney Wish buoys and on deck 5 in the front starboard side there is a small lifeboat that makes a great photo background.
A photo must on the Disney Wish. You can get your photo on decks 12, 14 or 15!!
