I know that sounds like something that can’t be done when visiting a theme park that is a major travel destination with tons of attraction and experiences, but it can be done! There are so many ways that can make your trip easier and less stressful, and I will touch on a few.
There are so many benefits to staying on property! The top being if you stay in a Premiere level resort you get Express Passes for FREE! This allows you to enter each ride in the express lane shortening the wait time drastically. Other than not having to stand in line in the Florida heat another added benefit of the Express Pass is that you will be able to experience more attractions during your stay! As a resort guest you will also be able to utilize the transportation systems. These include bus and boat to and from the resorts to the theme parks constantly throughout the day.
Another perk of staying on property or purchasing your tickets through a Marvelous Mouse agent is being able to enter one of the theme parks an hour earlier than guests staying off property! Here is where a fun idea comes into play. This past week I was able to enter Universal Studios an hour early. In that time I walked back to Harry Potter, walked through Diagon Alley, rode Escape from Gringott’s Bank, enjoyed a warm butter beer, and then rode the Hogwarts Express to Islands of Adventure. Why was this a good idea? Because I was dropped off via Hogwarts Express right in Hogsmeade not long after that park opened. Allowing me to bypass all the guests entering from the front and trying to walk their way through the park to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
Simple and to the point: Bring a poncho! It rains in Florida. Quite a bit and at random times. Many people will head to eat or even leave the park when this happens. So, pull out your poncho and head to those lines that stat to shrink when guests run from the rain!
If you haven’t been to the parks before you’re going to want to take tons of pictures, videos and maybe even make some Tik Toks. This may drain your battery! Also, the Universal App is very useful navigating the parks, looking into wait times, and seeing where you would like to grab a bite to eat! The last thing you want is your phone dying and you miss the dragon spit fire in Diagon Alley, or even a guest appearance by Blue the Velociraptor.
It is not surprise to anyone that the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is captivating and magical for guests of all ages. All the attractions between the two parks are amazing and so technologically advanced you feel as though you’re in the movies. Having the park to park pass allows you to not only hop back and forth between the two during you day, but it allows you the experience of riding the Hogwarts Express! This attraction is like no other and is so much fun for the whole family!
