More amazing news has come from Disney Cruise Line regarding the newest ship, Disney Treasure! A treasure map has been created and sent out to some agencies and Social Media Influencers with some hints that are to come about the new ship.

The map was delivered in a wooden chest, a treasure chest per se. The map was locked in the box and the key was in a secret compartment underneath the chest. Once opened, you could find the map rolled up ready to be examined. While it looks like an island, the map is also shaped like the outline of a ship with details emerging from within the islands. One part of the ship that has already been confirmed is the atrium (main lobby) of the ship, it will be Aladdin themed.

On the map there are quite a few Disney films or characters displayed. While nothing has been confirmed, we can keep our fingers crossed that it will be very soon! We can spot Olaf, Star Wars, Maui’s Hook, and even Captain America’s shield. Also there is a Quantum Cell.
Going further into the ship we have spotted Nick Wild and Judy Hopps eating an ice cream sundae next to a pond that is shaped like a paw print. Just below are Cogsworth and Lumier from Beauty and the Beast, which are also the same two themes of restaurants on the Disney Wish, Enchante and Palo. Another food option are the grill type options on the pool deck, which are also featured on the Disney Treasure map.
Moving forward on the map you will see some mountains, which exactly is where the elevators are located on the Disney Wish. Within the mountains you will spot the house and balloons from Up.

Also spotted on the map is the Jungle Cruise boat floating up a river mid-ship. What could this mean?! Moving forward just a bit there is a Space Earth on the map! Yes, the EPCOT focal point is shown on the map. Also around the same areas are Rex and Trixie from Toy Story and some featured items from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
Hei Hei from Moana is featured on another part of the Disney Treasure map along with the Tea Cups from Alice in Wonderland. And beyond that is a nod to the Jungle Book.
Very far forward of the ship, generally where the stage theater is, you will find Pride Rock, a Coco themed town, and at the very front is Raspunsel’s Tower.
There are so many different films referenced throughout the map, and nothing but the atrium has been confirmed. As we patiently await more releases, be sure to reach out to Marvelous Mouse Travels to be added to the agency newsletters and be kept up to date with Disney Treasure updates!
