As a parent of a teenager, I am always encouraging my son to “unplug” and participate in family activities, especially on vacations. With so much of their world being technology based, it is great to travel with teens and tweens at Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda which has so much to enjoy that would appeal to this age group and does not involve a screen.
Here’s a few aspects of the resort that teens and tweens would likely enjoy!
SPORTS - Miches has a wide range of sports fields, equipment, and even lessons that are included with your resort stay. Examples include soccer, basketball, tennis, and bocce ball. Organized activity times are available, divided by age group, to ensure safe play and appropriate instruction.
UNIQUE ACTIVITIES - Where can your teen experience a flying trapeze lesson or learn how to aim arrows and shoot like a real archer? These unique activities are available at Miches too! He/she can join the other teens to learn how to climb the ladder to the trapeze, swing, and even hang from his/her knees. Archery lessons include safety, teaching, practice, and debriefing.
HANG OUT SPACE FOR AGES 11-17 - Club Med Passworld is a dedicated area staffed by the amazing G.O. team. Teens can just hang out or join an activity; the choice is theirs.
WATER SPORTS - Since Miches is located on the beautiful beach, there’s plenty of space to experience a range of water sports, with all equipment included. These range from snorkeling to paddle boarding to stand up pedal boarding. The G.O. team is there to assist as well. Did I mention this was all included??
FAMILY SUITES -Teens and tweens seem to always be wanting their own space, and maybe some time away from the parents. Club Med has roomy suites with the kids having a dedicated bedroom and bathroom too.
YUMMY FOOD WITH LOTS OF CHOICES - Is your teen a picky eater? Does he/she like to try different foods? Either way, Miches has something to enjoy at all meals. The widest variety can be found at Cayuco, which is the main restaurant, with an ever changing buffet of American and international food choices with a focus on fresh, healthy, and delicious!
Lastly, we all know that teens and tweens love to document their trips with the “perfect” Insta pic or Snap worthy shot. Club Med Miches Playa Esmeralda is full of those as well. From evening sunsets to fun seating options on the beach, your teen will be trending with his/her friends after this all inclusive vacation.
