Hi! My name is Amy, and I’m from Minnesota. I am the mom of four children, and we all love Disney! My favorite vacations have been to Disney World and most recently to Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. I fell in love with Disney when my Aunt and Uncle took me to Disneyland at the age of 8. Later, my husband surprised me with a honeymoon to Disney World. We’ve brought our kids four times and counting. (Babies, preschoolers, elementary age, middle school, high school, and most recently college-age!) I planned every detail, loving every second of it. I read blogs and Disney news daily. I enjoy getting up at the crack of dawn to get Fast Passes and dining reservations. For me the planning is as much fun as the actual vacation. Needless to say, I am hooked.
Disney has something for everyone and every age. There is a ten-year age difference between my oldest and my youngest, and I can say without a doubt that everyone is happy when we go to a Disney Destination. Also, three of my four children have type 1 diabetes and my youngest and I have celiac disease. I can tell you all about navigating Disney with medical and dietary needs. Disney is one of the best places on the planet to go with dietary restrictions and still have great food! Our family of 6 doesn’t fit into a regular hotel room, so I am also very savvy about staying on a budget with a large family.
As a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, I would love to help plan your next magical vacation filled with quality family time! For all the Harry Potter fans, I have also completed the training to become a Universal Orlando Resort Specialist.
