Hi there! I’m Shawna O’Dell—a registered nurse by profession and a fairy‑tale dreamer and travel‑planning pixie at heart. I live in rural Illinois near my husband’s family farm, where the wide‑open skies and peaceful fields inspire my love of adventure. My husband, John, and I have two wonderful college‑age children who grew up believing in the magic of exploring the world together.
Over more than twenty years of marriage, John and I have traveled with our family to destinations all across the map—including New York City, Hawaii, Punta Cana, Los Angeles, Disneyland, Nashville, Louisville, Indianapolis, Chicago, Atlanta, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg, Panama City Beach, Cocoa Beach, Indian Shores Beach, Gulf Shores, Marco Island, and Las Vegas. Each trip has added a new chapter to our family’s story.
For us, Walt Disney World is truly our “happily ever after” place. Whether we’re strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with Mickey‑shaped treats or soaring around the globe on Soarin’, Disney has always felt like stepping straight into our favorite stories. One of our family’s favorite spots is EPCOT’s World Showcase, where every pavilion feels like a mini vacation—full of global flavors, cultural discoveries, and unforgettable moments around the lagoon.
Beyond Disney, I cherish the breathtaking magic of Hawaii, where the sunsets look as if Moana herself painted the sky, and the cozy Northwoods charm of Cornucopia, Wisconsin, a peaceful retreat that feels like our own hidden kingdom.
As a travel planner, my greatest joy is helping other families experience that same sense of wonder. I specialize in big‑group travel, a skill I developed after planning many of my own family’s 20‑plus‑person adventures.
