Hello! My name is Amanda and I live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my husband and our kiddos. I am originally from a very small town in southern Indiana and grew up loving the farm life and country air. After moving to NC at a young age and then meeting my Prince Charming in high school (who was a typical fairytale frog at first - maybe he was just playing the part because he knows how Disney obsessed I am, haha) we moved to SC for a short time while he served in the Marine Corp and then we moved back to NC where he began his career as a firefighter and where we have since raised our 3 kids and 3 rescue dogs.
My passion for travel comes from my mom. She was always up for adventure and a road (or plane.. or train.. or ship) trip - no matter how close or far away it might take us. In fact the greatest gift we ever received was when my parents gifted me, my husband and our kids a trip to Disney World with them. That was in 2010 and we all STILL talk about how magical and special it was! I've always treasured time with family and friends and planning vacations together has brought us so much more joy and so many fun memories that material things could never provide for us. It is my passion to help others plan the perfect vacation with their friends and family and brings me such joy to see the smiles on their faces when they see it all come together.
Besides being a Disney College of Knowledge graduate for all Disney destinations (such as Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, Disney Cruise Line), some of my other certifications include: Royal Caribbean Bachelor of Adventure, Gold Tier Specialist with Virgin Voyages and a Certified Universal Parks & Resorts planner.
