Sweets, Eats, and Amazing Treats at Festival of the Arts

It is officially festival season at Walt Disney World! While EPCOT is fabulous on its own, a festival makes your visit even more magical! The eats, treats, entertainment, and amazing exclusive merchandise brings guests in from all over the world. From January 17 through February 24, 2025 guests can experience such a wide variety of fun. Let’s find out the new menu items with this year's Foodie Guide!

A fun little add on is the Disney Gift Card that you can purchase to use in the parks. It is about half the size of the standard gift card and features a wristlet strap for safe keeping and easy access to purchase those fun treats! Another great souvenir is the Premium Popcorn Bucket! This year, our favorite purple dragon returns for the popcorn bucket that comes filled with Rainbow popcorn! The popcorn bucket can be found at Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey.

The 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts features not only Food Studios, but some of the other dining locations participate in the festival and offer limited-time menus as well. There are so many available options to choose from, let's see what is new for this year and maybe some returning favorites!

Quickly returning to Figment’s Inspiration Station, a new Raspberry Pastry Tart reminds me of the pastry tart found at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here however it is a sugar cookie tart that has a raspberry and lemon cream cheese center filling. Returning is the Rainbow Cake that has a topping SKITTLES POP’d Freeze Dried Candy. There is also a Figment Imagination Lemonade on the menu where you can choose your flavor. How fun!

Brand new for 2025 is Opening Bites which can be found at CommuniCore Plaza. With a new Food Studio it also means new menu items! A Soft Shell Crab Slider features a green papaya slaw with a mango ketchup that is served on a brioche toasted bun. The next item is a Cheddar and Chive Scone. The scone is sliced in half and topped with smoked salmon salad, a drizzle of creme fraiche and a dash of caviar. A new sweet treat also appears. The Enchanted Rose is a rose shaped from milk chocolate with a raspberry and rose filled center.

Connections Eatery will offer a Figment’s Liege Waffle that has an ube filling and an Imagination Lemonade. The lemonade is made with Minute Maid lemonade and mixed with lavender and a butterfly pea tea.

The second brand new location will be called Fictional Victuals and will be found near Refreshment Station. This menu is definitely different from any other menu I have seen at EPCOT. With Squid Ink Pasta, Charred Octopus, and a Black Cocoa Brownie you have to be open to trying new things sometimes I suppose. The Squid Ink Pasta is made with lump crab meat, truffle cream, and topped with a shaved truffle. The Charred Octopus is served on a bed of crushed fingerling potatoes, capers, kalamata olives, and a romesco sauce. While the Black Cocoa Brownie looks to be sea worthy, it is made with an ube ice cream, coral tuile (French baked wafer cookie), and sponge cake! Also new this year is a Butterscotch Milkshake, which sounds delicious!

The Deconstructed Dish Food Studio returns for the season! This fun menu offers a Deconstructed BLT that is made with a delicious pork belly with soft poached egg, an onion bread pudding, watercress espuma, and finally a tomato jam. The next amazing choice is the Deconstructed Key Lime Pie. This piece of art is a combination of a key lime curd that is decorated with a “Key Lime” mousse, graham cracker cake, and little meringues.

A few savory ingredients will lead us to The Craftsman Courtyard! The first of three menu items is a Beef Wellington-inspired Croissant Supreme. A creamed spinach croissant pinwheel creates the base for the mushroom-gorgonzola ragout that is then topped with mustard-grilled flank steak and a drizzle of red wine sauce. The next is the Cast Iron-roasted P.E.I. Mussels that are served with sauteed tomatoes, garlic, and a fresh herb blend. The final food item on the menu is Roasted Bone Marrow that is served with an onion marmalade, pickled mushrooms, and a dash of petite lettuce.

We have now made it to the World Showcase, or where the countries are located. Here is where the real fun begins with such a wide variety of foods and options!

El Artista Hambriento is located at the Mexico Pavilion and features Carne Asada, Croqueta, and Natilla de Maiz on the menu. All three of these items are returning items to the festival.

Continuing through the World Showcase is China where The Painted Panda can be found. A new Egg Tart and Har Gow will be available for purchase. The Egg Tart is a Hong Kong-style egg custard served in a tart shell. The Har Gow is three shrimp dumplings that are served in a pumpkin puree with a splash of chili oil. General Tso’s Chicken Shumai is also on the menu at The Painted Panda.

A sweet and art inspired treat can be found at the Refreshment Outpost! An Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie is designed to look like a paint palette, with the finger hole, and three primary colors placed on top, it is absolutely adorable!

More savory and sweet options are just around the corner in Germany! Pastoral Palate has a menu that features a new Pork and White Bean Cassoulet that is made from Regensburger Sausage and crispy pork rinds. The Red Wine- Braised Short Ribs return for the season as well as the Black Forest Cake.

L’Arte di Mangiare has two new items on its menu along with the returning favorite of Mozzarella Fritta which is a fried fresh mozzarella cheese with 4 different types of condiments served on an artist palette. A Tricolore is the next item which is three raviolis that are cheese-filled, each with a different sauce. A red pomodoro sauce, a white cream sauce, and a green pesto sauce, just like an Italian flag. The final item is a Hazelnut S’more Cannoli which sounds delightful! The classic cannoli shell has a chocolate-hazelnut cannoli cream filing and the ends feature mini toasted marshmallows.

The American Adventure is generally where you find my picky eater, but for those that like to try new things, this is the place to be! The Artist’s Table offers a Deviled Egg Trio that features one with pimento cheese, one called the Green Goddess, and the last a BLT. The next item is a spin on the classic Chicken “Pot Pie”. It features an open-faced pie crust that is topped with roasted veggies, pickled mushrooms, smoked cheddar mornay sauce, peas, and a sherry-chicken jus.

When they say if you make the food fun they will eat it, I don’t think they were referring to a sushi donut, but EPCOT has done it and it makes a return for the 2025 Festival of the Arts. Salmon, tuna, and shrimp create the base of this Sushi Donut. New is Taiyaki which is a tart pastry that has a fish shape on the front and stuffed with sweet red beans. It is then served with a blue whipped topping to look like waves and blueberry boba pearls. Also making a splash this year is the Wagyu Bun!

The next item is new, and you either like it or you don’t. Caprese Poutine served with Tuscan-spiced fries. The fries are topped with mozzarella pearls, confit tomatoes, garlic, a basil pesto, and a balsamic glaze. This can be found at the Refreshment Port.

One location that always seems to have amazing treats is Swirled Showcase! DOLE Whip is the main item on the menu, but there are a few new items as well. The Imagination Cone is a lavender cone that is filled with bubble gum soft-serve ice cream and topped with white chocolate pieces shaped as wings. The next item is the Candy Trio Flight. The DOLE Whip Strawberry is topped with STARBURST MINIS, DOLE Whip Lemon features SKITTLES POP’d, and DOLE Whip Lime has a chili-lime dusting and LIFE SAVERS gummies on top. The final new item and one that is really exciting is the Liquid Nitrogen Minnie Cake Pop! This berry sponge cake features chocolate ganache and colorful chocolate splashes.

While there are so many other amazing dining options for your next visit to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, we have to keep it to the new and popular items or we could taste test for weeks!
