While we are still waiting on a haunted house or two announcement, we do have another scare zone announcement, and a very exciting announcement for entertainment from the Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights. Please take note that this event can be very terrifying and is recommended for guests ages 13 years of age and older.
The newly announced scare zone, “Swamp of the Undead,” takes place in Louisiana. The official social media page of Halloween Horror Nights - Universal Orlando describes “Swamp of the Undead” as “in backwaters Louisiana, you unwittingly wander onto private property, where you’re swamped by zombies borne from the bodies of other trespassers who were killed and dumped in a nearby bog.” This makes me think there will be a ton of zombies wandering throughout with fog and even a chance of some moss covered areas. Could there even be some tall grass areas to resemble the wetlands? I do not want to find out what is hiding in the swamp.
Up next is the return of the “Nightmare Fuel” show. When I was able to attend in 2021, this show was absolutely amazing and had me mesmerized by their talent. For the 2024 show, “Nightmare Fuel: Nocturnal Circus” is described as “a dark circus, a new nightmare that carries with it a sinister curse. Get trapped in a thrilling spectacle of pyro and aerialists to the beat of pulse pounding rock rhythms.” This show will have you rocking out while on the edge of your seat with the amazing talent that this team showcases each night of Halloween Horror Nights.
