The day has finally come! Universal’s Super Nintendo World has opened! This brand new immersive land is sure to take you back to your childhood, it sure has done that for me! Step through the portal into Super Nintendo World and meet Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach on your adventure! When you enter the park, be sure to purchase a Power-Up band! This band will allow you to collect digital coins, just like in the games! The bands digitally connect to the park app to keep track of the coins, keys, and other special objects you’ve earned. It also allows you special enhanced features during your meet and greets with the characters. You will have to visit Universal Studios Hollywood to find out first hand what those special features are; I’m not one to spoil the fun.
New merchandise is always an exciting part of a brand new attraction or area! You will be able to find Super Nintendo World merch at select locations throughout the park and Universal’s CityWalt. You will also want to visit the 1-Up Factory inside of Super Nintendo World! Merchandise is always subject to availability, but chances are you will find hats, headbands, lanyards, sweatshirts and more! Are you team Mario or team Luigi? Grab a replica style hat to show who you represent!
After all of the fun exploring the new land, you will definitely need some fuel! Stop by Toadstool Cafe for an exciting meal. Here you will find soup, salad, burgers, chicken and more! Toadstool Cafe has something for everyone. They are also offering 3 different fantastic desserts; Tiramisu, cupcakes, and mousse, all designed after a reference of the land.
Ready for more excitement? Take a stroll over to Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, the newest attraction of Universal Studios Hollywood. When you enter the queue for the attraction, you will tour Bowser’s castle, just like in the game! Then you will load into your cart, put on your specially designed goggles, and you’re off to the race course!
