Great things are happening over at Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe. We are seeing exterior designs of the two brand new resorts, plus announcements of future attractions, dining experiences, and characters! One world that will surely be very popular is SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan both have a SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, and both have been wildly successful portions of the theme parks.

It has officially been announced that SUPER NINTENDO WORLD will feature both Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country. It has also been made official that the new world will feature all of the attractions from both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan here in the Universal Studios Orlando theme park.

Guests will enter Universal’s Epic Universe through Celestial Park and make their way around the theme park into the different worlds by entering through the portals. It seems that SUPER NINTENDO WORLD will have a similar portal to the entrances at the other two SUPER NINTENDO WORLD sections of the other theme parks. Could you imagine entering through something other than the green tunnel?
Once you enter, you will feel like you have been transported into the games. There are ? Blocks, Koopas, Thwomps, and more!

The first attraction, Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, will definitely bring out your competitive side. Meet your friends on the racetrack to collect coins and throw shells and bananas just like in the game! The next, Yoshi’s Adventure, is the first Yoshi ride in North America! It is a family friendly attraction where you embark on a hunt for glowing eggs. There are also interactive games to participate in throughout Super Mario Land.
Another exciting experience is the character meet and greets! Guests will be able to meet with their favorite characters like Toad, Mario, Lugi, and Princess Peach.

Inside SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and Super Mario Land is another gateway into Donkey Kong Country! This area is a tropical hideaway that features the Mine-Cart Madness attraction which is a roller coaster with all new ride technology to mimic the cart maneuvers from the game.
While there still has not been a date released for the grand opening of Universal’s Epic Universe, they are providing a great glimpse into the lands we are excited to experience. If you have not been in contact with a Marvelous Mouse Travels agent yet, I suggest you do so soon! When the official date and booking windows open for the brand new theme park, it is sure to sell out quickly!
