Over the last several years, Walt Disney World has undergone quite a few renovations. Disney Parks is calling this the re-imagination of EPCOT.
In the recent months, EPCOT has introduced the Journey of Water - Inspired by Moana, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Those are just a few of the amazing attractions that can be found at EPCOT.
The new Creations Shop has also opened for merchandise needs along with the Connections Cafe & Eatery for a refueling station. Another very popular restaurant is the Space 220 Restaurant which is known for its out of this world experience and eats.
Disney Destinations has announced that on June 10, 2024, the final touches of the re-imagination of EPCOT will be debuted!
For a limited time, June 10 through September 6, 2024, guests will enjoy a new sing-along experience from the story of Disney’s “Encanto.” The show “¡Celebración Encanto!” will be available multiple times each day at the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza state. Mirabel and Bruno, both characters from the beloved film, will be found on stage to help sing along and bring the story to life.
CommuniCore Hall was created to be more indoor space for the festivals and celebrations that are held in EPCOT. It is also the perfect place for the new meet and greet location for Mickey Mouse and some of his friends.
Another recently opened space for guests to enjoy is the World Celebration Gardens. There is plenty of space to enjoy the natural beauty of EPCOT, along with a charger station for phones, and chairs with ledges to sit back and enjoy a snack from a festival booth.
