Disney Springs is a great place to spend a day when guests are not in the parks. This area is a restaurant and shopping district that does not require admission or reservations to explore! The array or shops and dining experiences are vast. From Disney merchandise locations to a running store. Guests will be able to find anything they could be looking for.
During different holidays and times of year guests can experiences fun entertainment throughout Disney springs. This time of year the Luck of the Irish is in the air! With St. Patrick’s day being right around the corner guests will not want to miss The Raglan Road Mighty St. Patrick’s day festival! This event will run from March 11-17th. Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is near the Boathouse and Gideon’s Bake House. During the festival guests will be able to enjoy the best of Irish talent, a variety of beers and cocktails, classic Irish fare and more.

New in the menu this year is locally crafted seltzer, called “So Berry Les.” The name is a special tribute to John Cooke’s (co-owner of Raglan Road Pub and Cooke’s of Dublin) father Les, who found himself in the Guinness Book of World Records for setting a strawberry-buying record in 1977. What a great tribute to the history of the restaurant! This seltzer was crafted in a Winter Garden, FL and has a light and refreshing taste infused with local Florida strawberry and Key Lime juice. But don’t worry there will be plenty of Irish beer including Guinness, a traditional Irish beverage!

But it doesn’t just stop at the drinks. Raglan Road has amazing Irish cuisine, including the ever famous cultural fish and chips! Guests can also try other authentic dishes including, Shepherd’s to Die for Pie.
One of the best features of the restaurant is the regular entertainment guests can experience during their visit! This year for the festival, there will be top bands from Ireland being flown in. These include: Jig Jam, known for their captivating brand of CeltGrass; the Lisa Canny Band, blending pop and hip-hop with traditional Irish rhythm; Emerald Shore, vibrant traditional music. But don’t worry the fan-favorite Raglan Road Irish Dancers will also be performing and teaching guests a few steps too!
There will be more activities and events throughout the festival, from face painting to giveaways. There will also be merchandise that can be purchased. For St. Patrick’s day on March 17 Raglan Road will open at 10 a.m., seating guests on a first-come, first-served basis, with a $20 cover charge for guests 18 and older. This will be a wonderful and exciting time for anyone visiting Disney Springs!
