March 2024 brings so much fun to the parks and resorts at Walt Disney World and Disneyland! First we get to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and then Easter! But for now we will focus on the brand new Foodie Guide to St. Patrick’s Day in the parks and resorts, which looks to be very green and gold!
Starting on the East Coast at Walt Disney World, the sweets are strong this year. Disney’s Beach Club Resort features an amazing restaurant that serves fantastic milkshakes, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. This year Beaches & Cream Soda Shop will whip up a Mickey Shamrock Milk Shake that will have mint ice cream, with a chocolate drizzle down the inside of the glass, shamrock shaped sprinkles, and a beautifully decorated vanilla cupcake on top. Over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, an Irish Cream Cheesecake that features Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake with Chantilly cream and a decorated rim of gold ‘coins’. It also has the letters GF decorated on the top. It can be found at Gasparilla Island Grill. Into the wilderness of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, guests will find The Nugget, a fun vanilla bean mousse, stout cake, and filled with a salted caramel ganache at Roaring Fork.

Throughout the other resorts there are two other desserts that can be found. The first being Pot O’ Gold Mousse. This is an Irish stout cake that has an Irish cream mousse and a candy rainbow across the top. The Pot O’ Gold Mousse will be available beginning March 1st through March 17th and will be at five select resorts on Walt Disney World property. The second dessert is a plant based cupcake. The Lucky Clover Cupcake is a chocolate cupcake with a vanilla buttercream swirled on top with a shamrock design and shamrock sprinkles. The Lucky Clover Cupcake can be found at nine of the resorts from March 1st through the end of the month.
At Disney Springs, the on property shopping and restaurant area, there are so many amazing options to choose from! Amorette’s Patisserie always has fabulous dessert options but the St. Patrick’s Day dessert looks AMAZING! This year they have an End of the Rainbow Creme Brulee that is made of chocolate and coffee creme brûlée then a touch of Bailey’s Irish Cream whipped cream which holds a rainbow and shamrock coin. This can be purchased from March 1 through March 17, 2024.
City Works Eatery & Pour House has a variety of offering from March 13 through March 17, 2024 including three food menu items and five beverage menu items. The food menu will feature a Shepherd’s Pie Flatbread, Pastrami Reuben, and Irish Mac N’ Cheese. Which would you choose?
The Ganachery is another location known for its fun seasonal offerings, one being a chocolate piñata. From March 1 through March 17, guests will be able to purchase a Patty’s Mickey Chocolate Pinata. For the entire month there will be an Irish Cream Ganache Square which can be put into a mix and match batch that is offered.
Swirls on the Water, a popular ice cream location, will have one new ice cream option and two new floats. The Patrick’s Day Cone is served in a vanilla flavored black cone with a mix of pistachio and chocolate swirl ice cream with a chocolate Mickey shape on top. The Chocolate and Coffee Float features the same pistachio and chocolate swirl ice cream but it sits on Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew. There is also a version of the float that contains Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur for adults.
On the West Coast, Disneyland is also offering quite a few amazing options. The Red Rose Tavern has the Green Stuff, similar to the Grey Stuff but in a mint version! It is made with mint- white chocolate mousse on top of a chocolate cake, and a sprinkle of mint chocolate chips and cookie crumbs. This can be found from March 1 through March 29, 2024.
Grand Californian Hotel Craftsman Grill will have a Patrick’s Day Cupcake and a Patrick's Day Donut available through March 13. Great Maple, located inside Pixar Place Hotel, has a fun Cereal Milk Doughnut that contains the fun marshmallows that all kids pick out of the cereal! Downtown Disney will also have a fun sweet option at Salt & Straw. A Pots of Gold & Rainbows scooped ice cream contains those same sweet marshmallows with cereal milk ice cream.
Other select locations throughout the parks and resorts will have a Mint Chocolate and Cream Cookie Marshmallow Wand, this is three marshmallows dipped into caramel and mint chocolate and topped with chocolate cookie crumbs and drizzled with green colored white chocolate. The other option will be a Shamrock Cereal Treat. The Disney famous cereal treat is shaped like a shamrock and dipped in green colored white chocolate, then decorated with swirls of chocolate to create the shamrock appearance, then finally topped with white chocolate mickey in the center.
