Springtime Treats at Disney Parks!

The culinary team at both US Disney Destinations, Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, have been working hard these past few weeks to bring the Easter celebrations to life in the coming weeks. Not only will guests have the chance to experience the delicious sweets and treats, but there will be characters in their spring-inspired outfits, exclusive premium popcorn buckets, and even at a few Walt Disney World Resorts there are astonishing hand-crafted Easter Egg Displays created by the culinary cast members. Let’s take a glance at what the resorts offer guests to experience during their spring vacation!

Some exclusive items, like the adorable Thumper Spring Bucket, will be available for purchase beginning March 25 and will continue until sold out. They are limited to two per guest per transaction with limited availability at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

Stopping by a few resorts is the perfect way to spend some down time outside of the parks. The hand-crafted Easter Egg Displays can be found across four Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts. Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are directly across from each other and both resorts offer fabulous displays. Disney’s Contemporary Resort will also have Easter Egg Displays on the fourth floor of the resort. All three of these resorts will have the works of art from April 1 through April 20, be sure to stop by and experience the eggs inspired by characters, films, and parks. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, their display will be available for viewing beginning March 18 through April 20, 2025.

While the displays are absolutely breathtaking, and 100 percent worth taking a day away from the parks to explore, the snacks are also a “must experience.” While most of them are available in the resorts, there may be some special options in the parks as well. Back to the Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts is where the treats can be found.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will offer the same treats, a Painted Egg Whoopie Pie and a Carrot Cupcake. The Painted Egg Whoopie Pie is an egg shaped, cinnamon sponge cake that has a maple buttercream filling and topped with drizzled pastel-colored white chocolate. The Painted Egg Whoopie Pie can also be found at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. The Carrot Cupcake offers a cream cheese buttercream that is designed to look like grass and a carrot sat on top of chocolate cookie crumbs with spring-inspired sprinkles. This delightful treat can also be found at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Heading over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, a special Bunny Burrow Dirt Cup will return for the season. It is made with layers of chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream then topped with sandwich cookie crumbles and a bright spring flower inspired icing design. The next resort that will be offering two treats is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Three flavors of Easter Egg Macarons can be found at Le Petite Café; Strawberry Honey, Blueberry Coriander, and an Orange Milk Chocolate. At their Primo Piatto a Lemon-Ricotta Cheesecake will be back on the menu. Crafted with a lemon biscotti cookie base, vanilla bean panna cotta, and topped with a milk chocolate Mickey head stamp.

Most of the other resorts will offer an adorable Thumper Carrot Cake that has a cream cheese buttercream icing.

Another way to spend some time outside of the parks is at Disney Springs! If shopping, entertainment, and dining is what you are looking for, then look no further. Amorette’s Patisserie will have three new Easter treats on the menu from March 18th through April 20th. This year’s Easter Egg Petit Cake features cream cheese buttercream and pineapple jam sandwiched between layers of carrot cake. The second menu item is a Mini Easter Croquembouche (a French dessert made of a cream puff tower) that is made with chocolate pate a choux, chocolate-hazelnut custard, chocolate ganache, and topped with a white chocolate Easter stamp. The final item that will be on the menu is a Thumper Cake Bar that is made with a blend of vanilla chiffon cake and mixed berry mousse and decorated with an adorable image of Thumper.

A favorite location of mine for sweet treats is The Ganachery! So many chocolate choices, so little time. A new variety of chocolate bites grace the menu with flavors of a solid milk chocolate topped with orange crispy pearls and dark chocolate with strawberry crispy pearls. A Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Pop that is shaped like and Easter egg will also be available. With a layer of peanut butter ganache that is coated in vanilla marshmallow then dipped into milk chocolate, it makes a great to-go option. Finally, the seasonal chocolate piñata is crafted to resemble a Minnie Mouse Bunny. Made of hollow milk chocolate, it is filled with jelly beans and marshmallows!

The final stop at Walt Disney World is Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. A variety of doughnuts that feature spring decorations like a bunny, a chick, Easter eggs, and sprinkles will be available for purchase.

The West Coast offers nothing sort of amazing when it comes to the holiday celebrations as well. Disneyland Resort does things pretty similar to the way Walt Disney World does with treats.

At Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Springtime!, located at Disneyland Resort, is where Goofy and Clarabell will greet guests at this character dining in their Springtime best from April 3rd through May 9th. This dining experience is very popular, so reservations are highly recommended! At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Storytellers Café is offering its annual Easter Buffet on April 20th which will be an all-day character dining. The final Disneyland Resort, Pixar Place Hotel, will have Chocolate Easter Egg Pancakes and Truffled Devil Eggs will be available at Great Maple Modern American Eatery.

Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious! The Red Rose Tavern will have a new variety of Grey Stuff called Spring Stuff that is set on a yellow shortbread cookie with red velvet cake, and springtime sprinkles.

Special shaped and decorated rice cereal treats, cake pops, and caramel covered apples will be available at Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, Candy Palace, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, Pooh Corner, and Trolley Treats. There doesn’t seem to be any brand-new varieties offered this year, but we can expect the chick cake pop, bee cake pop, and bunny rice cereal treats.
