Are you headed to Walt Disney World for Spring Break and not really sure where to start? You’re in luck and have come to the right place! Here at Marvelous Mouse Travels, we pride ourselves on knowing the parks, having tips and tricks to help you along your journey, and providing excellent customer service. With the help of Disney Parks Blog, we have the guide to making the best of your Spring Break adventure at Walt Disney World!
The first thing on the list, and is honestly skipped over so much, is the water parks at Walt Disney World. If you didn’t know, there are TWO water parks on Disney property; Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. With attractions like a lazy river, waterslides that look like they start in the sky, and splash areas for the littles, there is absolutely something for everyone. The Water Park and Sports ticket option can be an add-on to your tickets for such a small cost but it adds so much more to your memories.

Next on the list is the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. So many times I hear that they will skip EPCOT because the kids will not enjoy it. I 100% personally recommend EPCOT during festival events and on an everyday basis, especially for those with kids that love the Princesses! Did you know that throughout the day guests can find characters in their respective countries around EPCOT. Characters like Mulan, Alice in Wonderland, Mary Poppins, Jasmin, Belle, and Aurora can be found around the World Showcase. During Spring Break guests will be able to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival which offers so many amazing opportunities, for kids big and small. There is a butterfly garden where you can get up close and personal with butterflies in all stages of life, there are two scavenger hunts happening (additional purchase and select dates for both), not to mention the attractions like Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Journey Into Imagination with Figment. There are also a ton of fun snacks to try around the World Showcase.

Another fun and sometimes skipped place is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Not only can everyone learn so much about the animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari, but get to experience a Conservation Station. At the Conservation Station guests can see a real working Veterinary Treatment Room, that if timed correctly can see a procedure being performed. Walls of amphibians, reptiles, and more creepy crawly creatures. Plus participate in The Animation Experience where you can learn to draw a Disney character with an actual Disney Animator which is a free experience and doubles as a really cool souvenir. Also on your way to and from the Conversation Station you can get a peek at behind the scenes of where some of the animals live when they are not out on the safari grounds. The final awesome experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the Wilderness Explorers activity. Also a free experience, stop and learn at the Wilderness Explorers stations throughout the park and earn badges as you complete those fun activities.
The final quick tip for visiting Walt Disney World during your Spring Break is to be sure to build in a rest day to your vacation. The parks are a ton of fun, but everyone needs a little down time and I highly recommend taking that time to explore Disney Springs! This shopping and restaurant district is right on Walt Disney World property, and easily accessible from all Walt Disney World Resort locations. Be sure to leave room in your suitcase, or just buy another from Disney Springs!
