My personal favorite has to be the body slides. These aren’t your average twisty slides—these are straight-down plummets that will make your stomach drop. Pressure Drop is the steep one that sends you flying nearly vertical, while Frightening Bolt starts with a floor that literally drops out from under your feet. One second you’re standing there, the next you’re free-falling. Ahhhhhh! Both of these slides require riders to be at least 52 inches tall, so they’re definitely geared toward the bravest on board.

If that feels a little too intense, the mat slides are the perfect mix of fun and speed. You launch yourself headfirst on a mat and race side-by-side against your friends to see who’s fastest. With a 48-inch minimum height, they’re a great option for teens or anyone who wants a competitive edge. Then there are the family raft slides, Storm Surge and Hurricane Hunter, where you pile onto a tube with your crew—up to three adults at once—and twist and splash your way down together. These also require riders to be at least 48 inches tall, but the group laughter on these rides makes them unforgettable.

And that’s just the top deck. Over in Chill Island, kids get their own fun twisty slide, and in Surfside there’s even a dry slide that anyone can try—no swimsuit required. No matter your age or thrill level, Star of the Seas has a slide for you. Just don’t be surprised if you find yourself riding “one more time” long after you planned to head back to your lounge chair.
