How can Disney be any more enchanting than it already is? Oh it definitely can! We all know Disney has extraordinary theming and special events and effects that set it apart from anywhere else. Now we can add specialty tours to that list again!
Whether guests are animal lovers and enthusiasts or creative and innovative there are going to be tours for them. Starting with “Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom” tour; which unlocks the history of Magic Kingdom park. Guests will see where fantasy reigns and will have backstage access to legendary areas during this 5 hour walking tour. One of the stops on the tour is none other than the iconic “Utilidor” or underground tunnels just below the park!
Now to pop on over to the Animal Kingdom and discuss their speciality tours! “Caring for Giants” where knowledgeable guides provide insight into the inner workings of our African elephant herd and share a glimpse into the day-to-day care for these amazing animals. Guests will get a deeper look at Disney’s conservation efforts to the preservation of wild elephant populations while privately viewing them backstage of the park. Another tour is the “Wild Africa Trek;” which is a real action packed adventure! This three hour safari excursion delves into adventure and education of the Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You will get to cross a swinging rope bridge near crocodiles and view towering giraffes, powerful rhinos and hippos as Guests ride across the open savanna in a rugged safari vehicle- just to name a few!
The last two tours returning are: “Up Close with Rhinos” and “Savor the Savanna.” Let’s start with the rhinos! This 60 minute tour takes guests backstage to meet face to face with these giants! Knowledgeable tour guides focus on insights into the species’ behavior and biology, and discuss the challenges that threaten populations in the wild. These intimate tours also allow guests to ask questions and learn beyond the common information provided throughout the parks. Lastly, “Savor the Savanna” is less up close with the animals personally but more so up close with the tastes of Africa. While gazing out across the Harambe Wildlife Reserve guests will get to indulge in a sampling of African-inspired cuisine, paired with a selection of regional beer and wine offerings. Private guides will also share some lovely stories of the unique residents of the reserve.
Guests can make advance bookings for these tours and it is highly recommended as only a limited number of spots are available for each time. Valid admission will be needed to each theme park as well as a park reservation at that park. More updates will be shared as they are released.
