Character meet and greets along with parades and entertainment are a staple of the Walt Disney experience! Over the last few months announcements regarding these events returning and some with added enhancements. It has been a very exciting year as Walt Disney World resort celebrates the Most Magical Celebration - the 50th anniversary. These special moments for guests of all ages are what really set Disney apart!
Let’s start with Magic Kingdom! The beloved home to Cinderella’s Castle and the park that is always filled with joy and celebrations! Our friend Mirabel will be joining the “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade” on June 26! A favorite hero from from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit film “Encanto” will join Miguel from “Coco,” Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” Max Goof, Moana and more as this super-sized cavalcade winds through the park several times each day. But don’t worry… we still don’t talk about Bruno!
Heading into July, the most favorite duo together again, Minnie Mouse will join Mickey Mouse starting on July 6 in Town Square Theater at Magic Kingdom Park. The pair will be sporting their EARidescent fashions designed specifically for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration!
Another fun feature returning July 6 is Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. During this guests can join these crazy chipmunks for a campfire celebration and a classic movie to follow under the stars! Then on July 10th, Peter Pan and Snow White will be greeting guests in Magic Kingdom again!
Race on over to Hollywood Studios and Star Wars Launch Bay returns July 17! Here guests can experience a celebration of the space saga while seeing their favorites such as Chewbacca, BB-8 and Darth Vader- if they a brave enough!
These are just the events scheduled to return in the next few weeks. In the next few months guests can expect to see more characters at Disney World. At Magic Kingdom: Aladdin, Jasmine, Merida, Pooh, Tigger and Storybook Circus pals like The Great Goofini in Pete’s Silly Sideshow. Over at Hollywood Studios some favorite toys will be making appearances at Toy Story Land. And over at Animal Kingdom Donald Duck and friends will rejoin their prehistoric party at “Donald's Dino-Bash!” in DinoLand U.S.A. More information and dates regarding these changes will be released in the near future. Until then stay tuned!
