With the excitement building of the newest ship, there have been a few more announcements to build the anticipation even higher!
First there has been a new themed lounge announcement! Disney’s “The Aristocats” has earned a spot on the beautiful new ship. The official name, Scat Cat Lounge, is designed after the 1970 animated film, and will have everyone swaying along to “Ev’rybody Wants to be a Cat” while sipping on some delicious cocktails.

The design for the lounge has quite a few hidden secrets that Disney Destinations has shared. The carpet in the lounge is inspired by the carpet in Madame Adelaide Bonafimille’s home. There is also a Caution-Wet Paint sign to signify the adorable piano and painted paw print scene from the film. The delicious cocktails will include a Créme de la Créme Martini and one named The Cat Drink.
In almost every area of Disney Cruise Line spaces guests can discover hidden Mickey’s. Some even make it their sole mission to find them all. However in Scat Cat Lounge, there will be no Mickey’s, but hidden Roquefort’s! Roquefort is the mouse friend of Dutchess and her kittens in the film.
Finally, the posters outside of the venue pay tribute to to the pets belonging to the team members on the lounge project. That’s an amazing way to represent people so important to the building and design of this amazing ship.
