I recently had an amazing opportunity to travel to my favorite (so far) Sandals resort in Whitehouse, Jamaica at Sandals South Coast. While staying at this resort we stayed in one of these brand new rondovals.
These opened just last year and are located in the South Seas Rondoval Village. This area will include only those guests staying in one of these similar huts. These huts have swim-up access to a river pool that circulates around the Rondoval Village. Not only do you get swim-up access but you have a private plunge pool connected to your hut. If that's not private enough for you there is an indoor tranquility tub that fits two, or a rainfall shower.
Plus, you don't lift a finger as these rooms include Butler Elite services with 24 hour room service, reserved beach chairs/cabana, priority dining reservations, and all your needs met!
Rondovals are a great alternative to the price tag of the over the water bungalow. While you will not get that oceanview you will get many of the similar amenities.
Our room made this resort one of our favorites but here are a few other reasons to visit Sandals South Coast on your next romantic getaway!
There was only one problem to note: the transfer time from the Montego Bay airport is an additional 90 minutes on some very windy roads. Pro tip is to make sure to purchase Club Mobay to fast track customs when you land to cut up to 75 minutes or more off of that travel time.
