By:  Marvelous Mouse Travels

Disney Cruise Line sailings for the Wonder to Hawaii and Alaska have had some updates. Guests sailing on Alaska and Hawaii itineraries between April 26 and Sept. 19 on the Disney Wonder have received notice this week regarding the current health and safety protocols. There will also be additional requirements for guests that will be traveling to Canada. Also guests that will be traveling on these sailings may also may modify their sail date or cancel their sailing without any Disney-imposed cancellation fees by March 30.

Disney Cruise Line continues to require all vaccine-eligible Guests (based on U.S. eligibility requirements) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, as defined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This is a requirement for all Guests (U.S. and international) ages 5 and older. Also, guests 4 years and younger who aren’t vaccine-eligible, because of age, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken between 3 days and 24 hours before their sail date.

All guests regardless of vaccination status are required to required to take a COVID-19 test at the terminal before boarding. If guests test positive they will be denied boarding along with anyone sharing the same stateroom. Guests are not required to wear face masks while outdoors and optional in most indoor locations on the ship. Guests 5 and under who are ineligible for the vaccinations will be required to wear face coverings in Youth Activity spaces and in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Face coverings are required on motorcoach transportation and in the cruise terminal and may be required in ports of call based on local government requirements.

Guests visiting Canada should stay up to date on any requirements and restrictions placed by the Canadian government. Not only when guests visit Canada but before traveling to any location as well as any Disney destination be sure to check the Know Before You Go sections to be up to date on any changes.
